I used mine for two years, then it fell about 30cm while charging and now it only works sometimes. Shame really, as it did everything I wanted it to do (FM radio, MP3, even text files!)

@ShawtyLikeMe2007 really? ive never seen a kpek before but i quess its really good.but is it better than an ipod touch?cuz i love my ipod touch.its my personal internet browser,music,video,photo calendar,time and app holder lolz.oh and my alarm clock and my gps navigator and my restaurant finder.(srry im naming so much)but i might try one of these to see how good it is.it looks promising!(and mi pod is my weather forecaster and stock watcher)

for people who use the kingston k-pex you can buy non-branded, non-sdhc 4gb mini-SD memory cards(usually made in china) to max your capacity to 6gb (player + minisd card) I just bought a 4gb mini-SD card a few weeks ago and it works fine for my player.

i also broke the LCD of my Kpex. tried to find replacement but i did not. i bought a new one cos it has great functions. i like the recording a lot.its very clear, also the host function...great media player!

ahh.. hehe.. i c... me, i just broke the lcd of my kpex. i hope i can find replacement parts or service centers. ive been looking around but havent found any... huhuh :( so im buying exactly the same product... weee!! i used it for 3 month before the lcd broke...

I finally bought one nine days ago. I love it! It's too bad that the mini-sd slot only reads up to 2gb though(I tried a non-SDHC 4gb micro-SD card and a micro to mini-SD adapter, maybe if it was a solid 4gb mini-sd...), that was a let-down. I guess the only road to consider is to use the usb host feature and read files off of a flash disk. I'm thinking of buying an 8gb or 16 gb dedicated flash drive for it.

you too? ^__^ it's a great pmp for people who are just starting to jump onto the portable media player bandwagon, it also plays games btw. the best feature in my opinion is the usb host feature. My next target is to either upgrade my iPod mini to a 32 gb compact flash memory or buy a Cowon iAudio D2.

have you ever tried to use a 4gb non-sdhc mini-sd card on the expansion slot? i'm planning on buying one myself and I need to know if it accepts cards with capacities of over 2gb.

no, i havent tried inserting mini sd cards over 4gig. i tried puting 2 gigs though and it still works...

I'm going to buy the k-pex tomorrow, and the store where I'm going to buy it also sells a 4gb non-sdhc micro sd card. I'm going to try it with a mini-sd adapter and see if it will be read by the k-pex.

Damn. The 4gb non-sdhc micro SD card with mini-SD adapter didn't work! oh well, I guess i'll just have to buy several 2gb cards. good thing the slot is hot-swappable
