But I still have to watch his oxygen and it's still possible we'll have to go back... I'm exausted ! but our little ones are very precious aren't they ? My brother had that! The doctor said it happens offen strangely enough to young people that have a large growth spurt and the lungs do not grow in time. We caught it early, FEB 14/10 was when it happened. And it occurred again a month an a half later

I've been in a similar situation with my mother, She is having lug problems, we were told that is not lug cancer, witch thats amazing know to know, when I found out, I could not stop crying. She is out of the hospital now, she was there for 14 days.. awful awful.

I know what ya mean!! I was just in the hospital for a week with my 3 yr old. He fell out of my car and got a fractured skull with subdural hematoma. And when they scanned him, they found he has hydrocephalus which was causing problems with the bottom of his brain and spinal cord. He had to have a VP shunt placed and they didn't care about the fractured skull at all after they found his hydrocephalus. It was a blessing in disguise because he was born with the hydrocephalus. Glad your baby is ok!

You know what Dana? My dad has had a collapsed lung since WWII, and he's almost 90 now! What happens is that the healthy lung works at full capacity to compensate for the collapsed one. That's why she didn't show any symptoms at all. Back when he was younger, my dad used to dive and swim a lot. No one could stay under water as long as he did! And no one would've guessed he had only one lung working!
With today's advanced techniques, which my dad didn't get back then, she'll do a full recovery!!
Kids are so resilient! Give an adult our age the same thing & we'd be curled into the fetal position & crying like we were dying! I am glad she dosnt feel sick. It is heart breaking when they feel bad & we cant do anything. Welcome back to the real world...!

Oh my gosh, I've been a huge fan of you, I almost feel like you're my mentor! I used to live in Sudbury too and I just found out you live there! WILD! But I am so so SO glad your Daughters okay now!
