I'm only going to see this because of Logan Lerman, haha. I do think the story looks like it would work better as a book than a movie, which looks a bit pretentious but meh.

The movie should be good. I'm pretty much addicted to the series. The only thing about the movie is that it changed so much from the books. Have you read Percy Jackson? It's Harry Potter in a different setting. Why? Because Harry Potter is your average hero. Almost any book about a hero will have that sort of character. I read all the books, and I hope the movie rises to my expectations.
But a lot of you are wondering why Olympus looks like the Underworld. My explanation and opinion: probably because Zeus, the God of Gods, is fricking furious that somebody stole his thunderbolt, thus there is a storm above the palace.

I LOVE PERCY JACKSON! I screamed out loud in the theatres when i saw this trailer (everyone looked at me to see if i was madd :P) but i didn't care. IT's so awesome tht theyre making these books into a movie. Have you read Percy Jackson? It's Harry Potter in a different setting. Why? Because Harry Potter is your average hero. Almost any book about a hero will have that sort of character. If you think it's going to suck, don't waste your time and money seeing it. And by the way, if you're going to diss Harry Potter, I'd like to know why you think it's crap.

The movie looks good, but every ones too old for there part. Percys 16, grovers 17, and anibeths 23. there oridginaly 12. they Probably did it because they'er better actors. Also anibeths bloond( I truly imagened her brunet but I new she was still bloond). I'm not racis, but grovers bloond and whit,. Not black, but he might make the part a little more funny.

I read all the books, and I hope the movie rises to my expectations.
But a lot of you are wondering why Olympus looks like the Underworld. My explanation and opinion: probably because Zeus, the God of Gods, is fricking furious that somebody stole his thunderbolt, thus there is a storm above the palace.
Just my opinion.
Can't wait till the movie!
And I saw this trailer at Half-Blood Prince as well.

I LOVE PERCY JACKSON! I screamed out loud in the theatres when i saw this trailer (everyone looked at me to see if i was madd :P) but i didn't care. IT's so awesome tht theyre making these books into a movie. I wanna be in the Titan's curse! :) (artemis, thalia, zoe or rachel :)) and i agree, mount olympus is supposed to be bright and awesome, not dark and hell-ish (-.- ;)

well the director of this movie is Chris Columbus who directed the first 2 harry potter films and hyome alone 1 and 2. He's a great director.

Producers are making movies of many books, because they are running out of ideas of their own. Percy Jackson and the olympians just happened to be one very popular, action -packed, dramatic books that would make a great film. That doesn't mean it will be one though. -APercyJacksonFan
