Why? because regardless of if you use your stomach or your throat you need your vocal chords in tip top shape to do it (the same reason why Matt Tuck doesn't do any screaming anymore, only Jay the bassist does, or why James Hetfields voice changed after the black album) :)

@bowman94a7x Erm thats not screaming at the LBC, its aggressive and distorted singing, but screaming is like his vocals on SOTST, compare it. I've seen it, I'm into a lot of bands that use harsh vocals and growls and screams (please don't call me emo here, I am refering to screams/growls like that of Chimaira etc). If you knew anything about vocals, you'd know that by blowing vessels and vox chords it affects the sounds you can make and hence Shads does not scream like he used to anymore.
