HackTh3Planet - the reason I use my views in this manner is form maximum visibility of my opponent. If I simply rely on the shift+cockpit view, it would compromise the speed and control of my plane. I find that this style of using cameras gives me the greatest of amount of control over my plane. It is very important for me to keep an eye on a 109 who is trying to gain altitude on me.

EAW is pretty easy. Other than this game IL-2 has is a pretty good simulation. you NEED a joystick for that one.

might be harder to shoot in the cors, and it may be against the best overall plane (the zero) but the corsair can scissor your opponent to shrapnell like no other

I played 1942 for several years and I would love to take out the cocky 109 pilots who try to fly faster and higher. They couldn't understand how I could get them. Well, the more maneuverable spit could avoid the 109 and turn faster to get shots. Bullets travel faster and higher than the 109 -no matter where he goes.
