brilliant! I'm in my 2nd year of learning erhu as a university course xD... this sounds awesome, but it'll take years to be able to play even a bit of it o.O;
this year summer holiday I went to China, GuangZhou to learn erhu =). So if you have cousins or someone to live then it's just to go there =) because there is a lot of ppl in guang zhou who can play erhu and they are very nice and will teach you for free =)
No I don't sadly. there aren't many in the UK i don't think. I know the basics in theory so i should be okay at it. I already play guitar and piano so i hope i can pick it up easily enough. It's bloody difficult at first! :-)
I first saw Geaore Gao with Bowfire in 2006 and became an instant fan and got tickets early for the 2007 show. Galloping Horses is one of my favorite tunes of any type. All I can say is WOW! I bet Mr. Gao and Bowfire get a great response on the upcoming performances in China. Regards!

I didn't know they used kroner in Guang Zhou.
RandomTask3000 4 years ago
no no but the swedish kr has the same value as Guang Zhou's yuan. 500 yuan/kr is about 77 USD

haha but that's good ^^ I'm playing violin so I find those places pretty easily (almost the same to violin) but the technique is still pretty hard xD
