just came across this band. they have originality. new & old sounding. they remind me of a mix of some of the cooler bands of the early 80's; the ones that got NO radio play. radio too busy playing men at fucking work, and flock of fucking seagulls. they remind me a little of the swans, but more melodic without all the sludge.

discovered these guys about a year ago liked them right away. this song is my fav 1. After hearing them i thought there was about 4 people in the band..doesn't sound like much noise for 6 people. The only time i've seen them was when they opened for the black keys in cleveland...myself & maybe 10 other people were familiar with the band..i wonder if the other people had to deal with people bad mouthing them through the whole set like i had to? haven't got the new record yet..N E one got it?

Yeah, I have it.

It's not as dark as the first album though its not a complete turn from their sound. It's more vibrant in some parts and the guitar tone is more psychedelic yet the rhythm guitar in some songs sounds more like their roots ---> The Velvet Underground.

The first Cult album sounded similiarly to this song. Too bad The Cult never stayed with this style of Rock. The Balck Angels are very good and fresh with their version of Psychedelia.

i just saw them the other night at the troubador. i highly recommend the album they put out and if at all possible to see them live....it was one of the best shows i had ever been to and has inspired my musical career in such a weird way...i thank this band for what theyre doing and hope they continue.
