  • @DewDamaff what tune?

  • @BROOKLYNWUTANG3

Beastie Boys used the sample on Looking Down The Barrel Of A Gun. The orignal tune is The Incredible Bongo Band - Last Bongo In Belgium. The part that is sampled is the break portion which is the hardest part of the song. Love it when rappers and producers dig in the crates.

  • Tha Illest duo ever in hip hop. Straight tha fuck up, perfect balance. Nas might have taken THa god on this one doe.

  • @ThaSubzstance Mobb Deep up there also

  • @ThaSubzstance

Two guys from the Atlanta area would beg to differ. Nas is better as a solo artist though.

  • yooo AZ is my favorite rapper of all time... if anyone here likes him, hopefully you can appreciate sick wordplay

im not gangsta, and im not trying to be one single bit.. but im goin from rags to riches by working my ass off in college

if you want to hear an intelligent individual RHYME WORDS about struggle,

CHECK MY PAGE, i got verses to AZ's 'Hey AZ' & 'Cant Stop' ... a verse on Drake's 'Uptown', another on Styles P 'My life' and a few more... check em out n tell me what you think..

  • I laugh everytime i hear this song..... why you might ask????????? because they shit on every other rapper living on this track. its almost like they made this track just to let ALL other rappers and so call MC's know they can fall back. the last part by Nas is mindblowing.

  • dats foul wordplay....dope track,too short tho

  • YO DA THE WORD PLAY IS CRAZY !

  • beyond drama

  • Real Spittin----- Point Blank

  • damnit this is that ill shit niggas commit crimes too

  • Nas and AZ murdered this Beastie Boys sample. They both need to quit bullshittin and go head and do that collab album.

  • Actually, both the Beastie Boys and Nas & AZ got their drum and bongo sample from Incredible Bongo Band "Last Bongo In Belgium".

  • @SidewalksOfNY315

Good lookin on that gem. I figured the Beasties sampled it too.

  • No problem at all.

  • NAS diarhea destroyed the end

  • wow. thats all i can say bout this song is wow. almost as good as afirmative action

  • Almost??!!!!! This will bust Affirmative Action's ass.

  • AZ is a monster. wish i could meet him

  • @ello34 I met him a few years back. Cool dude. Pretty much the way he comes across in his music.

  • @LacedBoy awesome dude. :)

  • this beat is bannanaz

  • az and nas, ghost and raekwon, and meth and red are the greatest duos ever

  • wheres eric b and rakim

  • Picture this: steel cage match. the Clipse, Jada and Styles, Rae and Ghost, Nas and AZ and just for giggles Hov and Beans. Who's the last duo standing?

  • thats a ridiculously hard thing to answer haha they all got mad skills, but u cant be forgettin meth nd red in there haha

  • I left them out on purpose. They're an ill duo, no doubt, but they ain't on all that coke shit. They're more all around battle-type, shit talkin' MC's.

  • what about em and royce?

  • That would be murderous right there, as long as Em left that bullshit British accent at home. I would have to create a separate bracket for those two and throw Red and Meth in there.

  • At the end its Meth & Red vs NaS & AZ...no fuckin doubt. Or picture this: Nas & AZ joining along side the Wu Tang, that'd be some nasty shit.

  • Hell, if you want to go there, Nas & AZ vs. RZA & GZA. Imagine that. All four go in on their bars but Nas and AZ gets it on style, especially if they come with some shit like "Serious".

  • Oh man that'd be nasty...hahaha shit son I'd love to hear that. RZA & GZA are a great duo. There really isn't many people that could beat NaS & AZ though dude.

  • Let me bring back a forgotten duo: The Smith Brothers, aka Smoothe the Hustler and Trigga the Gambler. Throw "Broken Language" into the ring, shit could get real ugly.

  • Hold up, you from Philly? You gotta stand up for your city, man. What about Beanie Sigel and Black Thought?

  • @Kiladelphia33

    u forgot Big L

  • @Kiladelphia33 styles p and jadakiss should be up there too.

  • @Kiladelphia33 ya cant forget Slick Rick and Doug E FRESH..

  • @Kiladelphia33 ..cant say that EPMD IS THE BEST DUO THEN THE OTHERS

  • @Kiladelphia33 and capone n Norega

  • @Kiladelphia33 uhhhh showbiz and ag?

  • @Kiladelphia33 and mos def and talib

  • @bengalbh7325 wut bout jada n styles

  • @Kiladelphia33 you forgot Andre 3k & Big Boi!

  • @6angelo9 very true

  • Classic Hip Hop!

  • damn i replayed that 2nd nas verse like 10 straight times

  • Nas and AZ was equivalent to Raekwon and Ghost.

  • that like my 2 favorite duos...u nailed it rite on the head kid....

  • YES

  • you cant tell me Nas did not own this song....no disrespect to AZ he did his thing but damn Nas lost his mind....

no comp whether its freestyled or written down on paper!

  • Nasir jones baby one great left !!! HALF MAN HALF AMAAZING !!!

  • cordial but crazy cautious stroll through wit some crazy gorgeous hoes bodies like lady horses like

  • both flows are crazy

  • So many rappers borrow this technique it's crazy. It was inspired from the lost tapes, "My Way"

  • what technique u reffering 2?

  • This aint on my version of the AWOL album.

  • yea its not on mine either. I got it off AZ Anthology

  • i think az and big l are the most underrated.if you guys dont know big l look up some of his stuff hes a monster
