Trust me. the system is worth every buck. you can just use your browser on the PS3 to download map packs to your hard drive. the internet usage for gaming and web browsing is free, and the PS store has alot of good free content. you have to pay for everything on Xbox live and it dosent even have alot of online capabilities except for gaming and downloading stuff that you have to pay for most of the time. trust me, a PS3 is the right choice.

Of course you should buy a PS3 instead of a 360.you can get map packs from a torrent, or you can ask your folks to get you dlc with their credit card. I usually give my dad or mom the cash equivalent and they'll get it with their credit card. When you get your PS2, you gotta get FFXII man. lol.

Definitely, but its very hard to find one since most people who have a 60GB PS3 will not sell it because it's the version with the most hardware features (full backwards compatibility, SD, micro SD slots, 4 USB slots, etc.).
Actually instead of a ps2 i recommend a 60GB ps3, it is fully backwards compatible with all ps1 games, ps2 games (not accessories), and you can play ps3 games...

Funny, in graphical comparisons the 360 usualy wins 90% of the time on the same game.
The PS3 is actually badly designed. They put a super powerfull cpu in there and an inferior GPU to the 360's. A powerful cpu does not make better graphics and devs don't know how to program for duak cores let alone 8 cores. Bad design and a lack of understanding of what makes a good gaming system is what is in the PS3.
Well yo said that mgs4 couldn't be on the 360, which is just a load of hyped up hooey. MGS4 could easily be on the 360. You said its easily more powerful, and I disagree. So we actually don't agree on anything regarding this.
wtf? number one MGS4 wasnt even that much more advanced in graphics then any other game out, If anything ive seen better color and texture on COD4, and by looking at the gears 2 gamplay i can easily conclude that gears 2 is better looking than MGS4.
On top of that, the only reason why MGS4 can't ported to the 360 was becuase they were already half way done making it for the ps3. MGS4 had way to many and way to long cutscenes, which take up alot of space on a game disc.

That's because the PS3 version is usually the port.
360 is easier to develop for so they do most of the work there.
PS3 is easily more powerful, that's why Kojima kept stressing that MGS4 would not have been possible on the Xbox 360.

Pretty sure that cutscenes isn't a reason not to port a game.
Look at Lost Oddessey, that's 4 discs.
They could easily have done something similar for MGS4.
And being more than half-way done making a game wouldn't have stopped them from porting it over, look at FF13.
Again, I'm going to take Hideo Kojima's word over some guy on YouTube.
