You dont need to swap an engine from an srt-4 to a pt cruiser just go out a buy a Pt Cruiser GT they have the same exact motor/stock turbo, the only difference motor wise is the placement of the throttle body and the intake manifold, I know bc I own a Cruiser GT. Nice work though

@RetroTechCustoms What Help do you actually need? The wire harnesses are not plug and play. Major modifications were involved to make all the safety systems and security systems talk to each other. One major benefit is that if your PT had traction control OEM then the traction will work on the swap.... I ultimately went with a stand alone and i highly recommend that route if you want serious power. Sorry for the delay I have been busy with school.

When we pulled the GT H.O. motor and our neon srt4 motors and built them we had the heads blocks turbos exhaust manifolds intake manifolds throttle bodies etc on the bench and they all swapped out just fine. In fact when we order parts for the PT H.O. we simply order srt4 neon parts. Even the down pipes and elbows work. Like I mentioned before only the intake manifold and PCM are different. The SRT4 PCM has better fuel mapping and less timing pull at WOT! This gives the SRT4 60HP more!
The sound you hear "wine" in the video is the pusher fans he had to install in place of the stock puller fan. Small pusher fans create a higher pitch sound due to faster RPM motor(s). You can dial down the speed by using a power dial.

Yes and very much so I love the popping! You really cant hear it with the exhaust system i have made but with the cut out open its very loud popping!!! i will post a video soon during the night so that the balls of flame can be seen with the WOT Box

To be honest the swap is more trouble than worth. i did the work myself with free labor and it still cost me an arm and a leg. I dont regret it but if you have an N/A stickshift go with the KenneBell Supercharger and call it a day. You will get into the mid 200's no problem.

no not stock exhaust. i have two mufflers inline to make her quiet. i dont like the roar inside the cabin because she is a daily driver. i do have a 3" downpipe and a 3" cut-out before the mufflers.
While I really like the car I'm sad that you put a fake SRT-4 badge on it. It's more of a GT now even though it's still an '01. Still, job well done and it's a beautiful car.

The GT doesnt come with an LSD tranny, it doesnt come with the 3 piece axle nor with the downward sweep intake manifold. it is the same motor of the "GT" but its not like the GT.
