This year the portuguese song was not good at all but i do love Dulce Pontes, Cristina Branco, Ana Moura, Mariza, Misia, Madredeus,... so I would say that I like Portuguese music. @PJdreamer It didn't win before the public vote was put in place because of kinship based agendas between the major founding countries (England, Ireland, and so on), and it doesn't win now because of eastern europe, and its tight neighboring block! When will people just grow up to the point where they can just simply take it somewhere else!! lol The eurovision has never been a music competion, and that is why countries like Portugal have never won, my friend!

Although the language is quite a limitation, because most of the people in Europe don't get a word of the lyrics, and i don't think that they really enjoy our kind of music. There were many singers like Lena who didn't had a great voice to win it. Although they did... It's a real shame.

in Portugal we don´t realy like very much eurovision...it is all big crap, but the Portuguese entries are not all that bad, there was some very good ones, but I have no idea why the outher countries don´t like our songs. Sorry, but they had awesome songs specially in the 90's (1991, 1993, 1994, 1996, 1998, 1999). But they have no as many neighbors as Croatia have, so it makes sense they don't score so well. Sorry dear, but that's the truth. End of the story.
