I don't know sometimes telling crushes you like them can turn out good or just flirt with them to death, then it is only a matter of time before they make a move if they are interested. Yes, diets don't work. Just lower intake, diets are just bland and nasty. That way you can have all those sugars and yellow cheeses and all that. Unless you are diabetic.
yeah diets don't really work, I mean they do but they don't. Lets say someone has been big much of their life. Then I diet would just make them lose so and so much weight, but they would remain big still. Refrain from large servings and minimize food intake.
They also say that one shouldn't have anything that is supposed to have something in it that doesn't. Like if one substitutes an ingredient for another. Such as: diet coke, supposedly it throws off the body making it crave what wasn't there. So if anyone wants a soda have a soda not a diet. The best thing to do is have small portions or a large portion of something. Not several small portions though lol.
I did try the atkins but I got pretty weak and my tummy was always in knots. So please continue with what your doing cause im desprite for something to try. Congrats on your loss so far and also sorry about the crush thing, It may not have been ment to be, (((hugs))).
my first reply disappeared/hasn't posted, but here is part 2.
I lost 40 lbs. by cutting out drive thrus all but twice a week (I went every day, twice a day), then once a week, then never. You don't miss it after you detoxify.
Then I lost another 20 by not drinking soda. It's amazing the little things you cut out. Now I am trying to watch my portions and I'm plateaued. I suck. A plateau should not last over a year.
My dietician says the first 20 pounds of a really heavy person like myself is just water. The fat doesnt start to come off till after that. Idee: find what else in yer diet to cut out that you can.... yer plateau wont last fer long then!
Okay, looks like the first half of my comment didn't post at all. That just sucks. It was so long. But in a nutshell, I'm sorry you told your crush about the crush. It was bad advice, especially if the crush is a good friend. Nothing good will come of that and it may at some point get too uncomfy between the two of you. I do hope he doesn't let it affect you.
glad I didn't give ya any crush advice. as for the diet some real good advice there. I did the no carbs thing for a while and it does work for sure. its just very hard to stick to...least for me. Make sure it keep us all updated on your progress :)
Dustie I just love your videos and your accent. SO CUTE! Im also trying to get more healthy and I was wondering if you could make a video about the things you eat on a regular basis. (on the non-cheatin days.) Thanks for posting this though. You inspire me!!
Also I'm diabetic and bread, milk, yougart, pasta etc also turn into sugar. I have to watch how many carbs I eat. Your body ( for a female) can only process 45 grams of carbs in a meal before storing the rest as fat. I have to have aspertame, cant have any sugars. I watch how much carbs I eat, and dont not allow me to eat bread, I just make sure not to eat more than 45 grams of carbs per meal.
I've had two reactions from telling someone I loved them, first was in college, and it was a crush, end result was he told me he didn't feel the same, I eventually still remained good friends with him during college. The second time, well he has not responded either way, I know he is scared and somehow I still have hope. I had a good feeling telling Bruce, and do not regret it.
my boyfriend was on the atkins diet for a while, meat and dark green veggies only... pretty much and he dropped a few pounds but he said it tore his belly up so bad and would get constipated. So you only steer clear of pasta and bread type products or what? im just curious and do you have meal plans like weekly or what?

Try stevia rather than the other sugar substitutes. The others have an affect on your brain cells, but stevia is all natural.

dang those portions. i just love the taste of food & somehow, the "stop eating" button in my brain is overridden by the taste sense ;)
