@cougarmoon777 There is a big difference in how the silk chiffon moves compared to the 5mm habotai silk or than 8mm hsbotai would move. That's one of the things I discuss in my dvd Strictly silk fan veils. The lighter weight the silk, the more easily it fluitters, but if you look at some of my performance dvds on youtube, you will see that you can do a lot of moves with the chiffon/just a bit different.
@MeleeaLambiase ok thanks for the info! I've been wanting to make some fan veils but I can't seem to find a local retailer who sells habotai, so I was thinking of using chiffon instead. I was just worried about how they would 'flow' so to speak.
Great dance work, but is Chiffon really ok to use for fan veils? It just seems like chiffon is alot more 'weighty' than silk.
