@baderb52 I think that it's a bad time to be a good player these days, with brilliant players like Messi, Iniesta, Xavi and Ronaldo, it's very difficult for other world class players to compete ie Kaka, Villa, Drogba and Rooney. They are brilliant footballers but are playing in an era of amazing players, so player of the year awards are difficult to come by, but there is no doubt that Rooney was one of the top three players in Europe in 09/10

For a Striker he's the Complete package. Work rate is high, Great at 1-on-1 finishing, Pacey, Physical, Accurate in passing, Helps defending his own team, can play any position (except defensively) also he's good at shooting from distance.

I just hope he'd keep his temper in control while on the pitch at least.
