Tatically, NBA has stoppe in time since 80`s. Theres nothing interesting there since ages back. Today, NBA best team are playing tatically like the way eropeans developed decades ago. Are u agreed ?

@TheLeilisa ... it depends a lot of factors, not only playing Basketball. If u have good feeding, the time you keep trainning, the way u keep trainning and, of course and most of all, your genes. Jordan with 15 was 1,85 m tall, with 18 was 1,98. Some people grew really faster and stopped it while too much youngers. And about Jumping, the first time i jump to touch the hoop i got it. I never had trainned in life. Its genes major factor to an athlete. But, good luck on your trainning.

@RazaIsCool Not really! These superstars you've mentioned are not really used to play the FIBA rules...This is the reason why they lost their previous campaign for gold with them. Lucky for them last year when they start to adapt the FIBA and European style of basketball. These NBA players are trained for physical game and defense. But in FIBA you cannot do that because they are more strict about fouls. This is the reason why European players are good shooters bcoz they don't need to rely inside

Second, USA dont be prepared for FIBA championships not because the stricting abou the falls, but because the floor dimensions, FIBA zone defense that USA dont undestand and, most important, they thought it above were not important till Mike Kryzevzky take control of the team.

@orlygoldenboy (2) - Amerians deffense style is based in individual effort, FIBA deffense is based in filling spaces tatically. Its a more smart defense because americans are more athletic and can use this. The rest of the world developed a very smart style of game offensively and deffensively. Pay some more attention about this. The victory of Greece in 2006 show a lot. That was the last USA lose. And they did not know to deffense the PNR from greece.

@orlygoldenboy ... but, to explain it all, pay attention in spaces, floor spaces. IN NBA they have much more spaces to dribble and other things. Pay attention in Lebron playing in NBA and in FIBA. People use to say that USA lose because SHAQ didnt go in 00, 02 and 04, but Shaq was bench in 96, and shaq would make 5 falls in tem minutes playing in FIBA. Believe in me. He was MVP in 94 but at that time world teams didnt develop a style to stop USA yet.

Seriously, I didn't find the finale to be great. Team USA was making some reallllly stupid mistakes and basically turning the ball over at the wrong time. There is a difference between great defense and bad offence. If the 08' team was playing they would've scored up to 30 points by now and would've blown them out, this team made some very uncanny mistakes.

@sheikh03 USA has amazing players for sure but they played in 2006 when many of the olympics champs were and it was a tough match as well, Brazil even had a chance of winning it then. i really doubt it would be 30 points difference. Anyway nobody can argue about the quality of the americans when it comes to basketball, but thank god Brazil once again has a team accordingly to its history of 2 wc titles and 2 bronze in the olympics. 12 games in wc. usa 7 br 5.

@wabirob lol, I watched all of the '06 games, I am referring to the '08 team which was named the "redeem team" after they were forced to seek redemption after their loss in '06. This team added Kobe Bryant, Michael Redd, Carlos Boozer and Deron Williams. As you can see a much improved roster that can follow up the case. In '08 all the superstars were also present to play - Nowitzki, Parker/Diaw, Barbosa, Gasol brothers/Rubio etc. They won gold effortlessly, just let up a lead in the final.

@wabirob Even though Brazil didnt face them, a more amatuer team in the '07 Fiba Americas beat Brazil by 37, it seems pretty evident that a stronger team would've shown minimal mercy. (also beat Argentina by 37 in the final - with Ginobili and Scola, and Oberto)
