Google is very high profile and has lots of CASH. It will be a HUGE taget for MPAA/RIAA to "prove" yet another point for people that borrow samples of their media...

Hehe, I didnt, but maybe Google will. That is one of my predictions; they'll continue striking deals with major copyright holders so that guys like me can keep using background music. (Btw, even if they didnt, background music is considered "fair use", but thats besides the point) B) I think the ones who will lose are the videos copyrighted to minor players that Google wont go dealmaking after. nice video, cool way to share your POV. I hope you're right - I generally trust google as (at least yet) they've not done anything to make me distrust them. This will be an interesting challenge though, I hope they don't get forced to take down too much stuff. eg: I couldn't watch Colbert Report if it wasn't on youtube as sadly it's not shown on TV in the UK.

Well I think Google and Comedy Central could strike a deal so that we get their shows here.. it makes sense since everybody benefits from it. But some other copyright holders may not agree.. those I think, will be the ones whose content goes down. Just my speculation, thanks for the comment!

I am thinking about anime .... but any way youtube blocked a lot of anime videos like "pretty cure" and it has many problems with toei animation and tv tokyo so wait closing all video from youtube before it buy its website to google

anyway google has little videos about doremi and many anime series and I don't think it will close them becose they give them money too

Well, if Google can acquire the rights to show anime here in YouTube, i think that would be best for everybody, everyone would be happy. But if that happens, all I would ask is to keep the original works separate. See my other video about "Two Proposals" to see what I mean.

Personally, I dont exactly hate anime, but I just wish it was kept separate from original works in YouTube. As it is today, you spend weeks working on an original project, and the day you publish it it instantly gets buried under a pile of Narutos that each took two clicks to rip off a DVD and come in five-part installments.
