@kolos2006 there was always a whole load of tension in the banshees due to the strange love triangle that resided between steve sioux and budgie ,plus the binge drinking didnt help but having said that siouxsie and budgie both had a lot of personal demons from their childhoods to contend with,I think after a while the guitarist got sick and left exhausted! communication between members in the banshees seems very bad,sometimes they would write songs rather than just talk things over.

I knew there were some live recordings on the box set but didn't realize there was a show from during the Tinderbox tour. This version of The Sweetest Chill sounds incredible. Its Edgar Allan Poe meets Byron. I need to get that box set.

Thanks for uploading this show. I wish I could hear the show in 1986 at Radio City Music Hall. That was the first time I saw them live and someone out there has to have a soundboard recording. This gig you have on here sounds so clear.

You're welcome. Unfortunately, I never saw them live, but my mum and dad were lucky enough to see them when they came here to Sydney twice (1983 and 1993). '83 would have been so much better!!
The reason this gig sounds so clear is because it is taken from the remastered Siouxsie & The Banshees "At The BBC" boxset, released in 2009.
