Besides mmos are ridiculously limited in what you can do, so theres the downfall of DCUO because if you did something of drastic effect on the gameplay it would change it for everyone who plays that game, therefore they limit your capabilities. so single player with limited multiplayer capabilities is the way to go.

In inFAMOUS 2, the city is a peaceful city unlike Empire City, which was a nightmare. There's more things to do in inFAMOUS 2 like the user generated content. Finished the story? Go to the user generated content and it allows you to make missions for you to play on and share it online.

They need a game similar to this one, open world and all, allowing you to choose good or evil, fighting crime and/or cops, but instead of this all being a designated story line you need to be able to make your own character with a selection of powers and looks to choose, strength and speed attributes, and a choice in you allies/enemies. I think it would sell big time and be fun for a while, maybe have like a co-op or pvp option as well
