I'm not sure, but I can say that prior to watching these videos, my son and I both remarked on how the moon looks different. Doesn't make sense. I've seen other videos of chem trails, weird earth sounds and mysterious cloud formations. None make any sense but something must be happening. I've been looking at the sky for 45+ yrs and I've NEVER seen clouds like some videos captured or the sounds. What's up?

Hi I just watched your moon video about the phases and I just want to point out that the phases of the moon aren't as simple as 1, 2, 3. You have to take into account where the sun sets and everything. That was the correct phase as far as I could tell, but it was at a different angle.

If you nitice there is a darker line from where the terminator should be. Most models don't take in "Earthshine", where light reflects off the Earth and illuminates the moon. This is why the terminator is there but you can see a darker area past it.
Buy a telescope and get out there instead of taking in rubbish on the internet and thinking you can find hidden things on google sky.

I've never seen a Moon photo like this! Has it been going through RENOVATIONS, perhaps? Looks totally different from five years ago. If it's gone through total renovation, then its weight distribution is different, and that would account for its being in a different orientation.

I dont really care whats in this video, its hardly reliable. It can be rotated, moved, changed. I watch the moon almost every night. Im an Amateur Astronomer. There is nothing wrong with the moon other than people speculating on something they know nothing about. I trust my 20 years experience with telescopes and celestial D+RA data than any video camera.
The declination and right ascension data for the moon has always been correct.
It doesnt take a telescope to see that the image were used to seeing has changed dramatically. You dont need a video camera or a telescope to see the major difference that i see right now with my own two eyes looking up at it through my window.
I really don't know if this relates to anything but I noticed a pretty big change in how blue the sky is. It used to be a more dark blue but now it looks lighter. It's not just me either. Other people I know have said the same thing.

The moon used to apear right after the sun set...and now, she is only visible after 1am here in Portugal...is it normal? never seen this happening before...usually right after is dark she cames, but now she apears more then seven hours after dark...any explanation for this????

The Moon appears to "tilt" 360 degrees every 24 hours since we are looking at it from a rotating Earth. The "line" on the Moon, along with all its features change orientation constantly, due to that. It's entirely normal.

I ain't no astrophysicist but it seems to me that the variation in the moons wobble would be caused by the viewers perspective. Specifically, if you view the moon from a northern latitude in the summer the moon will appear to wobble more over the course of the cycle than it does in the winter. This is an illusion caused by your position on the planet relative to the orbital path of the moon. Sorry guys, but this video doesn't really prove anything.
The orientation of the Moon to your local horizon and your "vertical" depends on your location on Earth and time of day, WHICH CHANGES. You can't compare lunar orientation without taking those factors into account.

Um... I'm sure that if you played with the contrast of the higher quality image of the moon to match the incredibly bad image the darker spots would match these areas pointed out. You can see that it matches in the video you just need to have a good look. It was debunked. Netlethe thought a phase calculator display, which only shows what parts are lit, showed the predicted orientation of the Moon as seen from the given place and time. I used a planetarium program, skyviewcafe, and displayed the Moon after selecting the option to show it as it appears to the observer. They agreed.

I Am Not Only A Astrophysicist but i study all thing in depth. since late 2010 the moon had been weird. on angles it shouldnt be. blackening, brightening. and only a few weeks ago i noticed in the sky about 2am the moon is almost completely UP SIDE DOWN!! i watch it go from normal, to sideways to almost 180* up side down. wake up sheeple!

Last spring, the moon was on the south side of my house, & a month later, it was on the north side. It would flip flop, throughout the rest of this year. Surely some one else, "must have noticed"?
We have found that, due to the Earths new tilt, "many sink holes have formed throughout the U.S.A. alone." Maybe, water levels are readjusting, & previous levels cause a sinking of land mass, in areas where the water levels were?

you know there were a lot of things not able to be explained by astronomers in our history. Whos to say we know our solar system/galaxy well enough to establish a sincere "defect" as it seems to be presented as one, when maybe just maybe its just a continuation in its cycle, which could be much greater in "length" and "age" than thought to be, within the cycles of our system we are aware of and are capable of measuring now.

I've never seen a Moon photo like this! Has it been going through RENOVATIONS, perhaps? Looks totally different from five years ago. If it's gone through total renovation, then its weight distribution is different, and that would account for its being in a different orientation.

I dont really care whats in this video, its hardly reliable. It can be rotated, moved, changed. I watch the moon almost every night. Im an Amateur Astronomer. There is nothing wrong with the moon other than people speculating on something they know nothing about. I trust my 20 years experience with telescopes and celestial D+RA data than any video camera.
The declination and right ascension data for the moon has always been correct.

I really don't know if this relates to anything but I noticed a pretty big change in how blue the sky is. It used to be a more dark blue but now it looks lighter. It's not just me either. Other people I know have said the same thing.

My eyes was blended by the strong light from the moon. It has never happend before. I could look at the moon for 10 minutes without problems, last time just a minute and I was totally blended. The Moon appears to "tilt" 360 degrees every 24 hours since we are looking at it from a rotating Earth. The "line" on the Moon, along with all its features change orientation constantly, due to that. It's entirely normal.

I ain't no astrophysicist but it seems to me that the variation in the moons wobble would be caused by the viewers perspective. Specifically, if you view the moon from a northern latitude in the summer the moon will appear to wobble more over the course of the cycle than it does in the winter. This is an illusion caused by your position on the planet relative to the orbital path of the moon. Sorry guys, but this video doesn't really prove anything.

The orientation of the Moon to your local horizon and your "vertical" depends on your location on Earth and time of day, WHICH CHANGES. You can't compare lunar orientation without taking those factors into account.

On the 23rd 2011 my boss called me outside to see the freaking moon...I laughed until I looked up. It was illuminated on the bottom and instead of a crescent ..it was round!!! Um... I'm sure that if you played with the contrast of the higher quality image of the moon to match the incredibly bad image the darker spots would match these areas pointed out. You can see that it matches in the video you just need to have a good look. In saying that I neither agree nor disagree with any of this just stating that if you want to try and prove someone wrong you should really take a good look first.

been watching the sun's settings and risings and also the moon's. no such change been noticed. i am one who thinks if something of that magnitude should happen, would like to know first hand.
on a massive gravitational shift, first thing that should be noticed are the ocean tides and also the weather systems' shift, also auroras.
up to 3 degrees changes create a lotta stress on bodies of water.

About a month ago after several weeks of cloudy sky's..the sun appeared again, and indeed to me it seemed lower then it should be this time of the year....Having said this, i can only confirm this on 21 april...on that day i know exactly where the sun should go under..Perhaps it is due to angle reflection of the suns incoming light, refracting differently...due to???...the question remains, is our atmosphere fooling us?

night hunting once a sport I enjoyed-running racoons under a full moon we often looked up to get our bearings back to trucks ,,my opinion ,shifted,even stars seem off to me the last few years,,but the moons been slideing NE from my point of view..Quiet about alot of things lately,missing SoHo data realy at critical CME ,,skies to hazy to see anything -night seems to glow now far brighter than a full moon did 30 yrs ago- but just what could average joe do about it ?magnetic fields R changing .

Here in Ireland we have "Newgrange" (megalithic passage tomb mound)
On Dec 21st The sun shines into the tomb. The first light enters about four minutes after sunrise.
5,000 years ago first light would have entered exactly at sunrise
If the earth has moved, maybe there might be a time difference this year?

It was debunked. Netlethe thought a phase calculator display, which only shows what parts are lit, showed the predicted orientation of the Moon as seen from the given place and time. I used a planetarium program, skyviewcafe, and displayed the Moon after selecting the option to show it as it appears to the observer. They agreed.

Farmers use the sun and moon quite alot, ask any farmer they will tell you this is not normal, neither are most astronomers :)
