  • Great video, thanks but who? where? how? did Yellow Brick Road get laid over this footage.

  • Bannerman, thanks for the video, BUT ceol elton seán.

  • Muiris O Rochán passed away 18/10/2011....go ndéana Dia trocaire ar a a anam.

  • @clarebannerman indeed he did, an iconic character muiris was, and lest we forget that it was he that came up with the whole concept of a summer school to learn traditional irish music, as a tribute to his close friend which we now know as the '' Willy Clancy Festival''

  • @clarebannerman Muiris and I were colleagues and friends for over forty years! Go gcoinni Dia í mbois A láimhe é.

  • Please would the person responsible come and explain to us all--in this public forum--why the pop-ish sounds made by one Reginald Kenneth Dwight [who apparently requires two identities, the other being 'Elton John'] should have been considered at all relevant as background music in a video clip celebrating a musical giant like Willie Clancy!?

Was it considered too obvious to slide some of his own matchless recordings as appropriate music in this tribute to one of Ireland's greatest pipers?

  • Pure nostalgia, loved the young Muiris Rohans tribute as Gaeilge,

  • A great Piper - thank you for this nice video
