Next time you have a rally like this, you should call out the few dozen who witnessed the crime and did nothing but watch or keep walking. Bring those failures up on stage and let them tell you why they kept silent.... Until you demand your sons and brothers to own up, events like this are merely feel-good...

But to survive, we have to channel this anger into building community, organizing with other people, and not feeding racism, sexism, and other forms of violence that hurt us all. I think your voice needs to be heard and hopefully you can change and be changed by others who work with you to end violence. Peace.
