  • My uncle Donnie an I would drive through the country smokin weed listening to this song...and his hair was perfect!

  • Isn't that the Geico caveman?

  • I believe sweettooth is on a sugar high. Albeit, Mr. Zevon was an extremely gifted lyricist, musician and singer - in my estimation one of the top 20 songwriters of all time. Yet, I honestly do not believe if Mr, Zevon was alive today, that he would appreciate such an inane (Lacking sense) comment which you made in reference to Kid Rock. Oh, by the way, the word is innovative!

  • "Might I just add, does anyone else laugh when they see that werewolf? I think the beast is played by Jorge Calderon..."

    Mexico's president?

  • i was wondering who would be that untaleted to use warrens music. i remeber when it first came out.damn kid rock could of changed some of the chords this song was very inervative because nobody had the courage to sing about a werewolf during disco fever years.i hated disco glad it faded out.this whole album was good.

  • This song was voted 'Best Opening Line To A Song' on Jeremy Vine, Radio 2.

  • I LOVE this song! The werewolf in this video is AWESOME! =D

  • the man was God....nuf said

  • Saw him in the early 80's...awesome show

  • kid rock sucks big nuts for ripping this song. just like vanilla ice didi queens song under pressure years ago. thos 2 fucks dont know aht real music is about. they TRULY SHOULD GO PLAY WITH EACH OTHERS DICKS.

  • @SuperWilliam013 You're an idiot if you can't tell the difference between a rip off and a tribute. All Summer Long openly uses parts of Werewolves of London and Sweet Home Alabama, with permission and acknowledgment. Ronnie Van Zant and Warren Zevon are both credited as writers. When you say that song was written by fucks who don't know music, all you are saying is you think Warren Zevon is a fuck who doesn't know music. Learn your shit before you spout off, asshat.

  • @shimonyk coolstorybro

  • @SuperWilliam013 Kid Rock has openly stated that All Summer Long is a tribute to this song. Troll much.

  • God I love this song so much.. AWWWHHHOOOOOO!

  • I'm going to be a complete Potterfag for one moment and mutilate this classic into something modern and dorky.

This is totally Remus Lupin's theme song.

  • Whiskey, weed and Warren Zevon....;)

  • The man had more class then most people can dream of!

  • Cant tell if werewolves of london or home sweet alabama

  • ...told hysterically in "I'll Sleep When I'm Dead", Warren and Howard Burke decide they want to make a video-years before MTV, so what would you even DO with it? -and have a meeting with the label exec about it... he agrees to give them $25,000 to make it just to get them out of his office.... "Warren Zevon travelled down his own road, and it's unpaved" Jorge Calderon

  • kid rock can suck my dick

  • I'd like to meet his tailor...

  • zevon was the king of alliteration,

  • WEREWOLVES OF LONDON ARE ON THE PROWL,

  • @1wolfoutlaw You're damn right they are

  • i like the Chaney references

  • He'll ripour lungs out Jim.

  • SWEEET HOME ALABAMA

  • I had a pina colada at trader Vics, my hair wasn't perfect.

  • lonn chenny is cool

  • His hair was perfect.

  • Yeah, Sweet home Alabama IS a related video.

  • reminds me of "Sweet Home Alabama"

  • Sweet home London?

  • Kid Rock is a talentless fuck. He couldn't shine Warren Zevons shoes.

  • @scole1116 I find it very illustrating of your character that you would come to a Warren Zevon music video to bash another artist. I'm sure you didn't become aware of this song until you heard it in Kid Rock's music video. Which probably proves your age, lack of musical comprehension, and the obvious fact that you're a troll. You couldn't shine your own shoes.

  • @scole1116 Fuck Kid Cock

  • Looool!! used to love this song!!

  • Only Werewolfs eat beef chow min.

  • sweet home ala--- i mean, werewolves in londoonnn wooooo

  • Now This is Real Music.

  • I only just heard this on absolute 80s today, how on earth I've never heard this before I don't know. But this is a stonkingly good song

  • band? was shreive on drums?waddy jorge how about bass??//

  • I love this song !!!!!,One of my favorites of all time ,Kid rock can suck it!!!!!!!!!.

  • Awesome song... Warren kicks ass!!! Kid Rock's version SUCKS!

  • no kid rock added 2 great songs together

  • This makes me want to go to prom....great memories

  • Kid Rock is a faggot

  • aroooooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOO Werewolves of London!

  • excuse me senator, i need a big bowl of chow mein

  • I've had the beef chow mein at Lee Ho Fook's in soho, it's not bad.

  • Is it me, or do these werewolves look a lot like the cavemen in those Geico commercials?

  • rofl at :39

  • Lee Ho Fuk: got food from there on the way back from Battersea to Brixton when I lived in London in the late 70's : )

There another place in Berlin that you have to go through a hole in a wall to get to - called Ho in Wa

  • Definitely an abuse of your eardrums, I truly sympathise ...

  • The Zevon estate probably got lots and lots of royalties from Kid Rock and money is always useful!

  • @ledal64 I agree with that, but having to hear it played every hour on the radio where I work should be considered an abuse of my eardums!

  • Kid Rock should be fucking castrated and made to eat his own bollocks for what he did to this masterpiece of a song, a total fucking insult to the great man. R.I.P Warren

  • @ajbondmi6

it made me HATE kid rock for doing that lame shit!

  • @ajbondmi6 Kid rock probably thought he was paying a compliment, but he wasn't. His ripoff was an insult. I hope Warren's family made a few bucks, at least.

  • @Schbopo: thanks for that, didn't know about the co-authorship.

  • 1 of the best

  • Mick Fleetwood and John McVie played d&b on the studio track. Who is playing here?

  • @shedpub

The bassist should be LeRoy Marinell, who co-wrote the song.

  • wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

  • Thanks for turning this great song into some kind of white trash anthem, Kid Rock.

  • What a talent, so missed

  • Fun fact: Lon Chaney Jr. who is mentioned in this song, starred in the Universal Pictures black and white horror film "The Wolf Man" made in 1941, and remade over a year ago!

  • HA....I'd like to meet his taylor!

  • @johnnacalverase01 Surely you mean tailor?

  • 109 people are gonna get their lungs ripped out!!!

  • "And his hair was perfect...NUP!"

  • Ahh ooooo! Werewolves in the band!

  • So much better than Kid Rock's version!

  • "There was a hairy-handed gent, who ran amok in Kent,

Lately he's been overheard in Mayfair,

You better stay away from him! He'll tear your nose off Jim!

I'd like to meet his tailor..."

(They just don't write 'em like that anymore!!!)

  • @countwolfula Make that "He'll rip your lungs out, Jim!"

  • best song ever

  • FUCK THOSE who terminated MANUETALAIN83s account!

  • This Song Totally Rocks, Songs from this Time are lots of Fun!!

  • 109 people are hoping that someone talks about them instead of the song

  • nice addition to the movie Color of Money as well....109 2 digit IQ individuals

  • people act like kid rock didnt have to get permission to use this music. no he didnt ruin it people seriusly how many albums have you released and sold

  • 109 people like kid rock

  • 109 people like kid rock

  • Yeah, they're all hillbillys.

  • this song makes me an excitable boy

  • Ya douche rockets. This is an awesome song. Warren's only real success. And Kid Rock does use the chords and with permission so what's the deal? Just don't like Kid Rock? He's a talented, very versatile artist. He's shared the stage with legends and he still has sold out shows. What's your success story? ............

  • @oneofkarma To call this zevons on success is a bit dim. It may have been his only big hit, but he wrote a ton of great songs.

  • @CosmicDamian That's kind of not the point. The point is that it's a funny song about werewolves with a catchy chorus. Zevron is not Beethoven and has no pretentions of being so, unlike some pop/rock artists.

  • @mikeandrewp Eh, the lyrics are kind of funny, never really payed attention. I just find it monotonous... even the simplest songs change chords for the chorus.

  • Cool music, but it reminded me. I forgot to shave this morning. The werewolf is looking familiar.

  • I love his expression behind the glasses...XD

  • kid rock copy that song..

    he should pay for that.

but he had also copied from sweet home alabama.

  • I'm not sure Warren Zevon has passed on. I think I saw him drinking a pina colada at Trader Vic's. And yes, his hair was perfect!

  • wow, since when was my video allowed back up?

I'm glad they tell me this stuff.

  • @rorad7 Hey Your vids up now. :P

  • kid rock fucked ur mother

  • I came first

  • ya i no what u are all talkin about i love this song i wish i could have meet him he is amazing such a great voice fagget kid rock sux if u want to ever listen to tht song save ur self the couple mins and listen to a real artist

  • old-school badass

  • okay...im in jr high and i love warren zevon!!!i would have killed to meet him!

my mom like that all summer long i think it is just annoying

  • sweet home alabam is from 74. this is from 78

  • this doesn't sound anything like sweet home alabama sorry, if anything huey lewis and ray parker jr ripped off the sweet home alabama riff, if anything this song sounds like brim ful of asha but i know the corner shop defintelly ripped this song's riff and beat off

  • this is very similiar to sweet home alabama (and now later that stupid kid rock song....), but im curious, which came first?

  • funny song

  • One of the best songs ever written.

  • I love this song!!! No matter how many times I hear it, I'll still feel that same tingle of excitement with the first strikes of the piano keys!

  • Long live Warren Zevon! Kid rock is a pretender

  • Sadly, in the UK it didn't get into the chart so at least Kid Rocks version will encourage people to listen to the original.

  • @gmang23

Naa, Kid Rock makes it really good.

  • glad people like you are still out there pokerguy. ugh my sister likes kid rock, drives me up the wall listenin to that one damned suck by them

  • kid rock will never be worth a shit, sweet home alabama and this song are much better

  • One must wonder why he put those two songs together though? eh...

  • Kid Rock = poser.

  • Kid Rock blows. Fact.

  • kid rock couldnt leave this song alone. fucking retard.

  • The werewolf is funny as hell actually. I luagh att the time. Th REAL werewolves of London were a street gang, which is where the inspiration for this came from. Nicely dressed and their hair was perfect....shit!

  • kid rock puts together what belongs together :)

  • Ug! Your ignorant comment sickens 1000000000000000000% of all Warren Zevon fans! Make sure you bite that opinionated lip of yours before you say something dumb again. Kid Rock would not be flattered.

  • no one's trying to flatter him he sucks

  • Kid Rock is a poser!!!

  • @2:59 pause it and think of this face with a hoodie...Inspiration for the Unabomber wanted poster? Hehehe...

  • Everyone that says 'Kid Rock ruined this song' should be slapped across their fat infected faces. How many younger kids would NEVER have heard this if not for KR doing the pseudo-cover. Give some credit for one artist doing another a solid by turning on a generation of music listeners that only have Pink/Madonna and whatever other fag bands are out there nowdays...Rock has to get back on track somehow, and not through the Jonas Brothers...

  • your wrong and right

rock does have to get back on track

but kid dick isnt gonan do it by taking two insanely good songs and ruining them

hes not a musician hes a dick

  • I completely agree with you about how rock music needs to get back on track and I think most music post 1999 sucks. But "All Summer Long" is a really shitty song. And I know quite a few kids who have heard this song, thanks to the internet and their parents. I first heard this song 4 years ago during my junior year of high school.

  • Ok i agree with you a bit Kid rock didnt "ruin" this song but he did copy it.

  • I somewhat agree with you. Personally I don't like remixes because it simply sends the message "we cant come up with anything new and original so we are just gonna take a great song from someone else and throw in our own voices".

  • His hair was perfect...DEEP!

  • kid rock ruined this song

  • Didnt know that talnetless clown kid rock was still going.. his rip off of this song is babaric

  • @marriage

you are right! kidrock is shit!!!

    Warren is King

  • @marriage

true that!!!. kid rock should bury himself in a hole, or better yet, ill throw him in a stope and backfill it with him in it... lmfao

  • @marriage He sure as hell did

  • @marriage That idiot's version certainly sucks!!! but this song is so great and so unbelieveable good even Justin Bieber couldn't ruin it!!! XD

  • @marriage Kid Rock, that poser, could fuck up a wet dream.

  • A true artist. R.I.P.

  • Fucking beautiful.

  • whoa at 2:04 when he took one hand off the piano. does he really just need the right hand. I know the right is melody and the left is harmony but gosh.

  • yep only one hand

  • For those of you that aren't aware, this is a music video. Most music videos are staged to match the studio version of a tune by miming along with a recording. You're not watching him play. You're watching him pretend to play. And pretending with only one hand is easy...

  • You ass-clown. Warren Zevon is playing with both hands.

  • I looove it!

    A-whooo werewolves of London

  • i loved warren since i was four years old, also i;m not hatin on kid rock fuck the man us talented jesus christ get a fucking life drink more do something

  • the fuck are you talking about

  • The Werewolf at 3:10 kinda reminds me of those cavemen on TV....you know, the ones that say its so easy a caveman can do it lol

  • its funny, me and my mom think almost the same, except i think this dude rocks, but she dont like him! lol, nice vid!!!

  • wow he is really talented that piano is just so kick ass

  • fuck kid rock

  • My friends dad Matt Blundin played for the NFL and his nick name was Werewolves of Blundin! :D

  • this murders rap shit any day of the week

  • People are still talking about Kid Rock on this video? Shit, I don't like him either, but find something new to bitch about already!

  • bush?

  • a-whoooooooooo!

  • Kid Rock cannot write his own riffs.

  • i hear that.

  • Fuck Kid Rock and fuck you.

  • @CorporalStrangepuss Kid rock is the man. fuck you

  • Yeh fucking right pull ur head outta ur ass

  • Wow, no respect for a true classic. Way to be a jackass.

  • yeah hes so talented he can rhyme things with things! Kid rock is a piece of shit who needs to stop making noise or what he likes to call it music

  • I first discovered Warren Zevon on a movie called Grand Canyon ,and loved him ever since.

  • he'll rip your lungs out,jim!

  • Huh..I'd like to meet his taylor

  • Wow i can't believe kid rock made a song out of this. Its such a shame that people with no talent (ahem, kid rock) will just steal all the older songs that were awesome. I wish we could go back to the days of Zepplin and CCR when music was original and tasteful.

  • fuck kid rock! he's a punk. zevon had more talent in the head of his dick than kid punk will ever hope to have.

  • Kid Rock went on tour with the people who made sweet home Alabama and this dude i think ( or they both paid for the right of this song) and they created kid rock - all summer long

  • this is not true at all, for a start Zevon is dead, long before the Kid Rock song.

As are most of the original Lynyrd Skynyrd members.

The Kids Idea came from mike clarke

  • reguardless weather kid rock paid for the rights to either song, it just goes to show how there is no true talent left in the industry, not like the days of creedence and warren zevon, when you heard a song then you knew they wrote it.

on that note though, with how many diffrent songs there are out there, it isnt suprising that songs sound the same...i mean therers only so many diffrent notes, people, not like you can just write a tune someone else hasnt already considered.

  • kid rock is a cunt. Pardon, i mean an untalented cunt.

  • lol

  • I love the facial expressions Warren makes while he is singing. Excellent song.

  • i think all of u guys r bein bitches who givs a crap evry one has a oppinoin so just shut the FUck up i happen 2 like all three of those songs

  • If you're talking about Sweet home Alabama, Werewolves of London and All summer long, then that is something we can agree on.

  • My boy Waddy Wachtel wrote the opening riff to this masterpiece. That fucking fag rag Blender did rate it the number one opening riff of all time.

  • Kid Rock stole nothing - he paid for rights to use it, just as every other band that samples/covers tracks. Learn how the music industry works before making stupid comments.

  • Its not that he stole it, it's that All Summer Long SUCK BALLS. How kid rock was able to take two great songs and produce such an amazing peice of shit is beyond me.
