Wow i can't believe kid rock made a song out of this. Its such a shame that people with no talent (ahem, kid rock) will just steal all the older songs that were awesome. I wish we could go back to the days of Zepplin and CCR when music was original and tasteful.

this is not true at all, for a start Zevon is dead, long before the Kid Rock song.
As are most of the original Lynyrd Skynyrd members.

reguardless weather kid rock paid for the rights to either song, it just goes to show how there is no true talent left in the industry, not like the days of creedence and warren zevon, when you heard a song then you knew they wrote it.
on that note though, with how many diffrent songs there are out there, it isnt suprising that songs sound the same...i mean therers only so many diffrent notes, people, not like you can just write a tune someone else hasnt already considered.
