Holy christ! I know why you're always smiling. I'm usually no good at fast pace, but I COULD MOVE A MOUNTAIN RIGHT NOW...I think I may. Thank you Esther.
This is marvelous Esther, it really motivates me to start the day off in a healthy way. Thank you!
I have a question about your timer. Is it someone actually sitting there ringing the bell, or is it a timer? I've been looking for tabata timers online and all I've been finding are really obnoxious ones with people yelling at me or ones that blast terrible music. I'd much rather hear this soothing bell. Thanks!
@cosmenherst There is also something called Enso Pearl that I have seen in the catalogs that will time like this and makes the same/similar sound. Kinda pricey though.
I do this for my HIIT training. Hi intensity intervale training. Just cant do squat thrust it hurts my bum knee. Nice training tips I recommend this for people who need to build aerobic capacity, burn fat, and endurance.
Esther, I love your tabatal routine. I just tried it, and will keep on doing it along with yoga, of course. Thank you soooo much for making your wonderfully presented yoga videos for us. I appreciate you more than you know!
Fun, Esther!! :) I already do something almost identical to this but really didn't know that it had a name. It is perfect in midday to wake up! lol. ...along with a good yogic forward bend!
Great video Esther, and good follow-up explanation. Routines done in superset sequence like the ones you've just shown are the best ways to skyrocket the metabolism.
this is great!... pleasee make more videos of this... and something like yoga for today, Im in Venezuela and i do everyday yoga with your videos... thanks Esther!...im gonna try to buy the dvd's next months to bring them here!...
I've really enjoyed your yoga videos. Tried this today for the first time and it was awesome. I feel great, thanks to your wonderful, easy instructions on all your videos. Would love to see more on Tabata. Keep it up.
Dear Esther, I tried your Tabatal after a routine of core-pilates... and it feels just great!!! Thanks a lot for your always valuable inputs. Namaste. @LauraLadybird: it isn't as hard as it looks, just make it 'your size'... :-)
Hi Esther, I love your yoga, and while there's nothing wrong with this, it isn't Tabata!
Tabata is SPECIFICALLY doing the same exercise for each set, and the rest period is still supposed to be at 70% of your VO2 Max (roughly equivalent to 70% of your workrate) meaning that you're not actually resting, you're just working less hard than you were before!
This training looks great, but it's a regular HIIT workout (High Intensity Interval Training): Tabata is a different animal!
@TheLatitudes This video is not awful, for me it's great. It's not a yoga routine, but it's very useful for yoga practitioners and for everyone who wants to build up stamina. Yoga it's not only postures.
Thanks Esther for your fantastic videos, I love them! I'll try this routine right now!! Perfect for christmas time!!
@TheLatitudes That's quite rude. You don't have to like it, but for Heaven's sake, be polite Latitudes! I really enjoyed this video! I think it's a wonderful practice to incorporate into your daily routine, and I'm excited to give it a shot! Thanks so much Esther!
Superb!

This is also a typical training routine for military, like (US) Navy Seals, et cetera. Very nice, cheers.

Loving this wonderful sprint, Esther! It's a bit more like some Kundalini kriyas I've tried, and great for the heart.
All blessings to you.
