This is the music ... divine and peaceful ... music has changed it meaning now for youngsters ... noise is misunderstood for music now ... m also a youngster but i have drowned in our incredible ocean of peaceful and subtle music and m ridiculed by my friends for the same .... sad
@darklord47 they used to call 60s physcadelic rock "noise" they used to call 70s rock "noise" they used to call 80s metal "noise" they used to call 90s grunge "noise". people who call any music "noise" is very closed minded.
i am 90 years and have been fortunate to see baba perform iive in my lifetime .....what greatness and what a saint ...... his conviction and sense of sacredness to music has been inspirational to all in his time. alubhai and vilayat khan sahebs (and nikhil's) passing has closed that time ... the rest have reduced our music to cheap commercialism!
In the pressure of cheap and popular bollywood trash, these are becoming rare with every passing day.
Please post more if you have. Baba - like al other great men of India - have been suppressed by the mediocre of India who has no caliber except connection and lobby.
amazing...ustad baba allaudin khan saheb was like the greatest man in this world...he still is....what he has done for indian music and culture is just amazing...this man is like my god!
baba, you are truely bharath ratna. I mean we gave Bharath Ratna to Nelson Mandela, who did nothing to the country, was purely a poiltical move. But, please accept by humble namashkars, I bow to you.
What is the raga that Baba is playing in this clip?
