Ah, makes more sense with the Zombies title, what with the crucifixes and the way the enemy sprites look. I always knew this as Realm of Impossibility on the C64.
It was re-released for both the XL/XE and the C64 as Realm of Impossibility, but Zombies is the better game. Lots more enemies, ergo more challenge. It was just sombody at EA thought the graphics looked a bit like Escher artwork.
