If I'm not mistaking this was Marvin's way of songwriting: adlibbing and fumbling around with a few words. I think I read that in the liner notes. Either way, I think it's nice to hear him do this. Great song. Thanks, Timmy. :-)

@lovelychick84 Correct, this is probably why on some of Marvin's songs it's a little hard to decipher EXACTLY what he's saying as even on the finished product there's a slight bit of rawness to the song.
