  • i want that computer case

  • Now I know. 21 December 2012 is the day that Skynet becomes self aware.

  • "We kill 3 birds with 1 stone" - 2:13

  • If that's Facebook servers I can't imagine what would Google's server would look like.

  • They have a WC inside the datacenter.... that's crazy!

  • I always wondered what Sulu would do when he retired from the Starship Enterprise.

  • I bet it can run Minecraft on fancy.

  • @mechakreidler Probably not... those servers don't have dedicated GPU's... they only have TONS of RAM and great CPU power.... thats it.

  • @HomiesOfMars I guess you could say it's the bare minimum then?

  • @mechakreidler

Considering none of these have GPUs, no.

  • @mattias14000 what a crap you'r going out man. its find

  • throw some bombs on it!

  • Burn it!!!

  • Awesome Server of Facebook....

  • The WC server capture in this video is really symbolic for facebook!!!!

  • lets host a minecraft server!

  • They are currently building a huge server centre in northern Sweden. The first of its kind in Europe. They are putting it so far north because of the cold climate to help cool the building efficiently.

  • @Coldpepper In Luleå In sweden, And the electronic prizes are cheap up there thats why they are building it.

  • @MegaMrGreen1 Idiot not In Luleå in In sweden lär dig stava och skriva idiot. its Luleå in sweden -.-"

  • what happens if they over heat O.o

  • it would've being nice if they show the actual servers and not the guy talking.

  • Linux. Linux, everywhere.

  • OMG....This is almost as big as the Jaguar-3TF...

  • so if i blow it up...

  • @mattehFLCL You'd be Face-High in shit with everyone in the world.

  • @MrSarcazzm but with remote detonation...

  • its awesome the operation at the server room...i just like it

  • This can run BF3 :P

  • Right, you can "barely hear the fans!"... -.- Granted,he was talking about internal server fans, not the cooling fans...

  • What happens when the power goes off?

  • @4149TOBI He explained it in the video. First their standby UPS system kicks in, which is essentially batteries able to provide power for the servers for up to 90 seconds. This is because the emergency generator takes about 15 seconds to fire up. And there you go. You wouldn't even notice it.

  • The real person database of the world

  • mark zukerberg you badass baller server room having motherfucker

  • I think chinese people made facebook and not zuckerberg :D

  • The real skynet!

  • feel like hacking Facebook Server

  • @ArnoStarTGOD ooooh yea

  • is My Account in this room ??

  • 1:50 after he touched the wardrobe and the light went down, he was scared shirtless. :D

  • @oOfretlessOo

haahah i only now realized that.

  • is this really a facebook server room? it dont seem like facebook would need all of those servers for a website...just build a desktop style pc, load it up with hard drives and you should be fine...

  • Youtubes server are infinity times bigger. If u agree thumbs up.

  • @tehstrongest1337 Google Server? :D

  • I hate facebook

  • How about Youtube's Server?

  • wow

  • hah You are Missing 1 Soul ! mine

  • @FilthyCount Maybe not! There are rumors that facebook builds secret profiles about non-facebook users.

  • C4 in there!!!

  • No need to go into the hot isle? How about to release connectors to pull equipment for repairs of upgrades.?

  • security must be tight there.

  • The server main switch is the only "Dislike" button on entire Facebook.

  • I AM A WAILING SOUL TRAPPED WITHIN FACEBOOK SERVERS. LIIIIIIIIIIIIIIKKKKEEEEE MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

  • lets watch back my channel. heheh......:D

  • I can't stop watching these server fortress videos.

One day I would like to assemble a team to go and destroy some of these for shits n' giggles.

  • I wonder how fast it runs minecraft?

  • @buckeyeg99 It's all data

  • lets find my facebook account :D

  • @sixflagsbelgium Tell your Email and i want hack it ;) and give your password here to all... maybe i want close down facebook for al hahahahah! lets hack down it! for noobs all there and shutdown the server.... they cant fix it hahaha!

  • @sixflagsbelgium found* not find -.-"

  • @Mattias14000 its find...

  • คนไทยกด like

  • i want to pua a gta 580 on each one and play battelfield 3 at888888888888888888888888888frames per second

  • I'd love to set all these up with instructions, it would teach me so much more about servers.. this place is serious lol

  • @hazoom2009 depends on what type of copper they have. you can run ten gigabite over copper in very short lengths and it has less lag than fiber coz the signal dosen't need to be altered.

  • Millions of souls, captured in that room.

  • @phz001 Not souls, just their imprints. And even then, their imprints are only valuable to try control the souls, there is no value in them on their own.

  • @phz001 trillionsssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss

  • @phz001 billions

  • @phz001 except ginger ones

  • it is even facebook's server room?

  • Yeah they in the darks ages ....Not exacty " The Beast " but still as dark and corrupt ..so have faith !

  • OMG people already moved to fiber optics long time ago, you guys still in RJ45 :S

  • maybe they found it more stable :)

  • @hazoom2009 Fiber is a cable RJ45 is the connector :P

  • @Vertman3000 lol actually this mix does not exist :D ok to be precise they're still using ethernet cables with RJ45 connectors :p

  • @hazoom2009 I meant RJ45 is a connector not a cable whereas fibre is a cable. I didn't mean RJ45 is the connector used for fibre haha

  • no photo's just a ton of video.

Which can be broken down frame by frame to be plenty of photo's wow

  • Those servers would almost hold the first half of the shortest chapter of my novel-in-progress.

  • How much it cost?????????????????????????????

  • i dont want my facebook account now

  • I guess Oidz would be like a granade here!

  • So a small dick Asian man looks after my Facebook info? Cool!

  • i wonder wat graphics those pc's have lolz

  • @FakePlasticShrimp Servers usually are not meant to have great graphics, this one probably will have a standard VGA card :D their main purpose is to handle as many tasks as possible. Your computer will do the graphics part ;)

  • boring

  • Building doesn't need a heating system, evidently. The hot isle is just connected to the main air conditioning duct...

  • ya im 100 percent sure if its on twitter on facebook or whatever its open to anyone... so dont put ur naked drunken self on the internet because some friend will post it somewhere else and end up in the fail videos on youtube

  • Great video !

  • blow it up

  • sleeping there for 2 days gives you superpowers...

  • so nobody shroud ever go to in the hot aisle but there is lots of space why?

  • @franceisbad The hot isle is where the hot air goes... air needs room... if it was small it would be under a high pressure and more air would go in... big space its easier to have a low pressure and pull more cool air in

  • google is more environmentally friendly

  • lol the light turned off

  • "Reason we didn't put any lighting in here is because no one should ever come to this space." AAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • i like it.....server without casing xD!~

    cost saving ~

  • Level asian server.

  • wow this is almost as big as my spare room

  • Mark Zuckerberg is a multi billionaire..he can pay for all that from the change in his back pocket loooool

  • why they sell information to people ??

  • Hey can i borrow those to run COD on my home network? (LAN party anyone?)

  • @NXTAurora COD would be ran on your local machine for a LAN party. What you want is a gigabit switch, that'll speed things up for you. Not a server.

  • all this hardware, all this CPU power.....running PHP lol

  • Can i host my minecraft server on it ??

  • one electro magnetic device will solve all problems

  • @ZajebaoVek EMP EMP:))) has some got an EMP BOMB ( they are probably shield though) nice tehnology:)

  • So that's the servers? Wouldn't an ordinary computer at home be enough...? Of course I'm wrong and some smart fuck will correct me, but still o.O

  • @SlightlyXxHDxX ordinary home computer would never handle hundres of people requests in same time, because everything takes resources and one problem is that home computers arent reliable and dont have a way to put on more then one hard disk and so on :)

  • @matukaz SCSI

  • cool

  • someone throw a bucket of water at it

  • you give me $100,000,000,000,000 and i give you EPIC servers

  • just think how much drama these servers get from skank's and attention whores that use facebook... Just think about it..

  • Google's Server room?

  • @The82late This times 9001 :P

  • So with a pressurized system, if that system should fail...you are screwed if the server's fans are not independently efficient to keep the equipment operational.

  • what about you tube lolol

  • One trip from a guy holding a Coke and there goes 50 accounts.

  • So what you are saying is if someone were to disconnect just one of those wires then we're all fu#ked...lol

  • Hack this anonymous LOL.

  • The awkward moment when those servers come in one small box in 2050.

  • @EgillRobertsson it will be sooner than that more like 2018-2020

  • Facebook supercomputer?

  • but will it blend?

  • 6:27 "you can hardly hear the fans"

    fans are all we hear

  • @p00lking

You've obviously never been deep in a large datacenter that isn't brand new and has an entire building designed around moving air flow around. Normal warehouse buildings with server rooms like this are screaming loud, you would not be able to film a normal level conversation like the one in this vid.

  • cervello diabolico

  • Do you think it could run minecraft?

  • I would be so happy to be there and pull the blug ;)

  • Hmm I wonder what this wire does *Unplugs all power cables* Ohhhhhhh Oopppssiesss

  • @nfsdre94 The funny thing is, unplugging all of the power cables would pretty much have no effect. Each server is powered with a UPS (Uninterruptible power supply). They'd just keep running until the batteries went dry...

  • satanic people

  • can I edit all harddisks with one pc?

  • 'The lights are motion sensor triggered to save energy'

I think you ruined your energy efficiency rating when you started having a huge sever running 24/7

  • 1. Insert USB

    2. Upload Virus

    3. PROFOFRIFIIRIFIT!!! :D

  • @FoldagerDK haha, they got servers running AV's, and not to mention coders that can de compile most malware. They stay on top of security

  • THE BIRTH OF SKYNET...

  • @victorspot Nah thats Google. hahaha

  • Comment removed

  • Make sure to bring your cat to guide you over there.

  • You can see the server my profile is stored at right at 2:44

  • this bloke is talking shit

  • pause at 0:35

  • i bet u the asian guy is lyin.. mark built this as a gaming computer

  • Is this where they sell people's information?

  • @Levitikai you sell your own information to the world, know better then to post personal information to the world, idiot.

  • @TheFatal05 Selling implies I gain money from posting personal information, which I don't. Well you could say I post my own info. I also post false information all the time using random aliases for multiple accounts on several websites. I'm guilty of information fraud.

  • @Levitikai no, that's in the Sales Office, lol

  • @Levitikai no.. this is where they store the information they sell.

  • @Levitikai stop being so paranoid they dont sell it, stop believing what you read on the internet

  • @leabuelo If Facebook didn't sell its user's information to third party companies, then it would have gone under a long time ago. It's very naïve to look at all the information that they are freely given by their users and think that they don't sell it.

  • server rooms give me hard-on

  • 20000000000000000 GB RAM

  • Google servers are cooler

  • @monkey6573 probably because people seach google billions of times a day

  • stupid music cant hear the guy!

  • Thats what my xbox sounds like when i turn it on.

  • when the power runs out i can see someone running to the servers like "SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII-"

  • @SAproductz With huge datacenters like that, they use a diesel backup generator. That's what he was talking about at the 2:40 mark about AC and DC power. (I used to work in a datacenter a little bigger than that one.)

  • Facebook now used Hadoop to process information.. Means millions of nodes to compute information.. They can tell you everything about you ....

  • Wow a basic air con system. Motion sensitive lights. Super cutting edge, for 1984

  • what a waste of electricity!

  • choose a good tour guide that speaks well, I felt irritated hearing him.

  • @othniel1991 If the US had a valued educational system instead of sheep pens, there would be allot more smarter Americans and the US wouldn't have to import high-tech jobs.
