This song is really groovy!! I believe it is probably one of the earliest of the psychedelic songs of that era. I think it came out in 1966. Far out!!
nice video at the beginning ..but im sry got bored with ur repetitive techniques.. coulda been more interesting.. like the song is.. i love this song and u made it seem blah to me
same here, nobody seems to agree with me when i say paul seems very shallow and selfish. but ringo, george, and john are my favorite..in that order. :]
Hi Im 11 yrs. old and love The Beatles and I get so sick of it when adults ask me my fave band they say "Arent you to young to like the beatles?I say NO(what I want to do is slap them in the face) So what if Im young they should be glad that Im not listening to that rap crap junk and My gosh I love the beatles so get over it!
Aren't you too young to like the greatest band that ever did, or ever will, exist? (lol!) Be sure to slap those people in the face a few times for me! If they listened to Tomorrow Never Knows, their britney spears-listening heads would probably explode.
Ha! You're a smart kid. I got involved with The Beatles back in the '80s when I was ur age. This was my father's band. They gave me such an incredible feeling, words, poetry, and music...and mystique. It's great to see you love them too, another generation to find...and love, The Beatles...
LOL! you are in quite a predicamet(?) my young fella. I love the beatles and i just say "I was raised right" that'll shut the bastards up :P o well dont be rude though, thats not beatle-ish. THink, "What would John do?" or our favorite beatle.
This song finally persuaded me that The Beatles are the best band the world has ever heard. I have succeeded in converting several other people, just by making them listen to this song. Lots of people go like 'wow, i can't believe it, this surely CAN'T be the same band that made Love me do and Obladi oblada??"
The beatles are awesome and this is a great album. My other favorite song on this album is "she said, she said" John Lennon was a genius. Theres some good Harrison songs on that album too.
The reason this sog rocks so good is becaus it was the first song the beatles recorded for revolver. Geoff used a leslie for Lennon's lead voice and ran it through a speaker or two. This was the best warm up song ever!
Great vid. My father used to play this song a lot when I was young. Very ahead of its time, this song. It was a little like sensory overload, though. Even without drugs, I have always seen sounds! LOL
i met klaus voorman in chicago at beatlefest convention.the man who drew this cover and he signed my beatles revolver album for me.i wonder how much it's worth now.haha
pop transcended. beauty full beautiful.

The Kinks beat them by three months! But they were the first band to actually have a sitar player

@SyntheticEspionage
What was the title of the Kinks song that beat them by three months? I've probably
heard it, but slipped my mind. Thanks for your input. :-)
endtimescyp 1 year ago
@endtimescyp Hi, it was 'See My Friend' which came out in '65.

This is when The Beatles first started to become artists and not just great pop songwriters!---1965 thru 1970 is my favorite period by them.
