I'm a trucker here since 1982. And I don't have "usual" loads. I'll take whatever I can fit in my trailer. It is harder and harder to make living here. Many truckers went out of business in last couple of years. There is not enough freight for everyone, so the rates are low. I'm happy that my son doesn't even look at my truck.
Thanks for the immediate reply, actually I am a long haul cross country run semi/trailer driver since 1991, presently based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
My wife is a Native Speaking American which also working here in a local airline company. We're planing to settle somewhere in St. Louis, MO., 2 years from now.
The plan to operate my own semi/trailer in States as a livelihood, might not be a good idea.
How long you're driving in the USA? What are your usual load? Is it good driving in the States?

Saint Louis is a good location to be a trucker. And two years from now trucking maybe again good idea. Who knows. I certainly hope so. :-D
