Hi i got this uke and i was trying to find some ukelele solo picking songs but most of the songs involve using higher frets that this uke unfortunately does not have so i couldnt really play it. i really want to learn some picking songs. am i supposed to use a capo or is this uke not suited for picking songs? thanks so much.

@Samsoknite i use this ukulele for fast fun strums like in the video if you want to get in to picking songs and just more in to the ukulele i suggest getting a tenor ukulele because of its higher range in frets :D good luck and happy playing

@plainoldstickfight yes i played with other soprano ukuleles and i like the Laniki pineapple the most and yes its good quality to . ^_^ happy playing .

@plainoldstickfight now a concert ukulele u can do a bit more on that one see because of the longer neck and more frets so if you like to get in to the ukulele a bit more then just playing nice folk songs then i think the concert would be better because u can get higher notes same with the tenor ukulele and baritone ukulele and yes u can tune a baritone to a soprano tune ( G,C,E,A) i own 1 soprano 1 tenor 1 baritone and soon i hope of owning a concert one day :D i hope u fine the right uke for u
