The reason why people don't use incanters absorbtion is because the mana loss of the mana sheild results in a slight DPS loss due to arcane mastery. The only thing its good for is when you use mage ward. But that provides such a small increase that it's only viable to use that GCD when you're moving for greater then 2 global cool downs. (Arcane Barrage and Fire Blast first) or on a pre-pull. Making the 3% damage reduction much more attractive. At least in my opinion.

You're wrong. Mirror image glyph makes your dps worse. The arcane blast maybe hits harder, but much slower. Frostbolt is better, because it's much faster. Go try it yourself with recount at dummies. Use glyph of arcane brilliance instead.. And btw.. In the start, I thought that you were a boy.

@SpirusTheVirus because of arcane's mastery. basicly. you cycle your rotation so that you spend the same amount of mana that you gain, keeping your mastery's effect at its peak. so mage armor helps with this. while allowing for more AB's to be cast - thus improving dps. hopefully haha

Fury warr: Str>Expertise>8%hit>crit>maste­ry>haste, pretty much mash whatever comes off of cooldown

Arcane mage: int>8%hit>mastery>haste=crit Arcane blast with mana management via evocate and gem

frost DK: str>expertise>8%hit>haste>mast­ery>Crit... Diseases, howling blast, frost strike, obliterate.. hard

@ScopedPewPew Lol, your wrong about Fury warriors because SMF = win, and SMF is Str > exp > hit 8% > Crit > haste > mastery. only thing about Arcane Mages your wrong about is, you need 17% hit. blood dks are Mastery >/= Dodge&Parry > Stamina > armor > Hit and Exp (and mastery stacking dks are fucked right now). UH Dk = getting buffed 4.2.2 and is Str > Hit to 8% > exp to 30 > Haste >/= Crit. Hpaladin: Int > Haste > crit > mastery right about stats for R paladins, wrong about the rotation

Unholy DK: not sure, nobody plays it... Frost makes it obsolete.

Prot pally: Mastery>parry=dodge>stam.. pretty much mash whatever comes off cooldown.

Holy pally: not sure, don't heal.

ret: str>expertise>hit>mastery>crit­>haste, mash your 3 buttons that come off CD

@Martyrofthefallen balance druid: lacking in single target DPS, but int>hitcap>haste is #1, not sure about crit & mastery. Basically keep up your 2 DoTs, spam wrath or starfire, depending on eclipse state... hard.

Spriest: Int>hit>haste>crit>mastery... Keep up dots, flay for filler, mind blast on CD. AOE is a little tricky.

assassin rogues: not sure on stat priority, basic rotation is this... Stealth, garrote, SND, mutx2, envenom, mutx2, rup, mutx2, envenom, repeat.. hard

@ScopedPewPew Balance druid stats are correct (Crit>Mastery) but Keep up Insect Swarm and Faerie Fire up, Spam wrath until Lunar Eclipse, then spam Sunfire until solar eclipse than Wrath again. your right about MM hunters. you forgot assasination / combat rogue which is: Agility > hit to 8% > exp to 26 > Crit > Haste > Mastery (assassination) and the priority is Mutilate > eviscerate to put it simply.

@Martyrofthefallen MM hunter... Agil>hit>crit>haste>mastery. Depending on your haste, there is certain plateaus that will change your rotation. The first plateau is simply 4 steady shots, 2 arcane shots or other instants in between each chimera shot. 2nd plateau is 4 steadys, 3 instants. Third plateau is 5 steadys, 3 instants.

Steady shot should always be used in pairs.

For the first 10% of the bosses HP, rotation is simply aimed shot & steady shot, with rapid fire, call off the wild

The only class of those that I actually play is hunter. It's not like it's hard to research classes, after playing for 5 years you kind of know each class anyways.

The mirror image glyph actually does increase the dps in arcane. i tested this myself on the ptr and the get the arcane blast de-buff and their damage visibly gets higher, pretty neat i think.

This is not a good guide for 4.2. Haste now outclasses both mastery and haste. The stat weights go Int > Hit > Haste > Master > Crit

If you have T11 4pc this is especially true. But yes, until you hit about ilvl 353 or above haste seems to outclass mastery for the best reforge.

Haste is technically the worst stat for arcane with 4set T11 with AB hitting haste cap with blood lust/hero. Of course without the 4set haste is rated over crit.

Another tip with Incanter's Absoption is to use Mana Shield during boss AoE's that cannot be avoided which with Incanter's Absorption is instant Spell Power. An example would be XT Deconstructor Hardmode ground quake thing.

Sorry I thought this will be useful but your stat priority is all wrong. Crit over haste for arcane? are you kidding me?

Haste is a much more valued stat for arcane then crit and very very much so.

Secondly improved CS doesn't reduce cooldown it silences the target and is pretty much useless in PvE since almost every mob in raids is immune to silence.

@MilanP87 Yes, haste is now least important for arcane even though it is hard to believe as haste used to be the best for arcane. With the reduced cast time of AB, haste is now your least prioritized stat for arcane but still isn't in any way a bad stat.
