The consitution clearly talks about separation of church and state in 1st amemdment: Congress shall make no law repecting the ESTABLISHMENT of religion, or probibiting the free exercise there of. In other word stop shoving your reilion down my throat! Worship in the closet as Jesus said.
Demand a refund on any history course you have taken... there is NO mention of separation of church and state in the 1st Amendment... it's purpose was to prevent an official national religion like in mother England (remember: "the Church of England!?")... the term "separation of church and state" was lifted from a personal letter that Thomas Jefferson wrote to a friend... also get a refund on all the spelling courses you have taken.
The congress shall have the Power to Lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts, and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence and general Welfare of the United States; but all Duties, Imposts and Excises shall be uniform throughout the United States.

"...But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security." -- From the U.S. Constitution
"Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable." -- John F.Kennedy
The "long train of abuse" line DOES NOT appear in the Unites States Constitution.
It does appear in the Declaration of independence.
The Declaration of Independence was a political document. The constitution was a charter for forming government and its law making process. If you don't know the difference then your arguments are pointless. No wonder you support Ron Paul.
Actually I do know the difference. Yes I made a mistake. Too bad I can't edit my posts eh? You sound like an angry little atheist prick. Troll much? LOL
Franklin was prophetic. Republics are hard to maintain. And another great Franklin quote: those who trade liberty for security deserve neither. You're making great points here.

No where is there a prohibition on Income tax.

Check out the meaning of direct and indirect taxes... the Framers were VERY specific about forbidding an income tax because it was a direct tax.

Thought-provoking quotes. I'm glad that we live in a country and at a time when we can "throw off" the bad at the ballot box.
Vote for Ron Paul everybody!
Vote for freedom -- while you still can.
