i think you should put credit cards near phone.. cause of magnet line thing might de-magnetise? i dont know how to say it.. thats what ive been told at least..
Well the thing is, the iPhone already has a toughened glass screen which is very hard to scratch. And if you do scratch it, it's just a phone. They are not gonna be completely perfect, ever.
I just don't think it's worth taking away from the quality of the screen.
with the screen protecter and i lifting up with a case just buy a rubberized case instead and it just protects the back and , while the screen protector protects the top and screen.
hello bro, nice vid, will get the leather case :) seams realy nice, - nice that you got the white phone aswell, i got the white 3g, and have had it sins the releas of it. will get the white 3gS when it have releas in sweden there i live.
I really like that case also, but I think i it would be ideal for a person who uses a bluetooth headset or the headphones. So when making a call you wouldn't need to fold the case back and it won't be a hassle every time you get a call.
Great review, I enjoy wallet cases as well but ended up with something that offers very minimal protection since I like to retain the beauty of the phone.
I use that exact screen protector with a incase slider, and as long as the screen protector is on properly it works fine, I suggest putting the case on, then the screen protector, and they work perfectly together
except for the anti glare feature, I've never really understood the point of screen protectors like that. to me it feels a bit like having a carpet in the back of your car to protect the trunk against smudges and shit. this would only be beneficial if you are going to sell it in the end, which is much more likely with a car than an iphone
yes but u still can have scratches, im talking about much harder scratches, but i really wanted it for the ANTI-GLARE feature, and also because im fussy about my iphone.lol.
OH, haha. I thought it was "scratch resistant screen" Havn't had a screen protector on mine for a year, no scratches, i need one because if I get the tiniest scratch i won't be able to stop whining about it.
wow that was fast.lol. no it is a scratch resistant screen, but u can still get scratches if u really push hard, i mean the screen now is pretty good, u dont relaly need a sticker, but i got mine because liek u, if anything happened i would whine.lol. but also I REALLY LOVE THE anti glare finish on the iphone. but ye, if something did happen, id go mental.lol. scratches are distracting when u use the device.
I had an email alert :P I gotta get one of the powersupport anti glares then. I like the leather case with them because it won't lift or bubble the screen protector, my primary case was the incase slider but that damages the screen protector, because it has such a tight fit. And the leather flap for even more screen protection
wow cool. i need one of those screen protectors. I had a leather case similar to the one you have and after a while it really started getting annoying because it just added more bulk to my iphone 3g and typing txt's was a pain. i supose it would be ok with landscape now available in messaging
Excellent video. I completley understand the obsesion with the leather I'm a motorbiker so I spend waay loads on the jackets etc. Lol also just to advise I had a case like the sena for my old palm PDA. I would turn the od side round the back loke you showed and then clip the button part on the button hole try that and see of it helps.
Yes, only the First iPhone had a recessed jack, which required adapters or specific plug (thin)
Griffin an others provides Mic+button (Play/pausse/next/previous and Answer/hang controls for the iPhone 1st and 2nd gen/iPod touch 1st gen) adapers, but I guess they'll soon update those products to add volume control too
I don't understand why people get screen protectors... Mine hasn't got any damage, been using my iPhone 3G for about 4-5 months now. I can understand antiglare but not screen protectors.
The screen on the iPhones can take a lot of pounding without any damage/scratch.
I will admit I have a silicon case for the back but I tend to take it off in my house so I can have the real feel of the iPhone :)
i really hate those type of caes. They just cover up the beautiful sleak Iphone. Plus if you lose it you've lost not just your phone but your ID and your credit card too !
ye good point, and true about the ID and credit card i mean i would just leave my id card not credit card.lol. ill leave that in my wallet. ye, i mean i do want other cases that show the back of the iphone, so u know see through cases, that would offer protection and show the phone. but whatever happens, this case is here, and its here because its selling, there are a lot of people buying this, otherwise they woudlnt make it.lol. it depends on ur views and what u want. this case is for me !
Well I'm sorry to be misinformed. I also have a first gen Iphone that I received from someone else, but mine has no scratches, I even tried to scratch it so I'll have an excuse to get the 3gs
ye it can take BASIC scratches but not heavy ones, and a screen protector, may just offer that extra protection INCASE you need it. the screen protector isn't some Almighty amazing protector.lol. just ADDED PROTECTION.
To be honest, I personally think that putting a case on a product defeats the purpose of it partially for me. I like seeing my products, so I wouldn't want to cover it up with a case.
And plus, putting a case on something so it doesn't scratch and so it looks nicer without the case on seems counter-productive. If you want it to look nice, how could you even see it if it has a case on it?
ye i get you.lol. but its just down to one thing, protection, thats it. just want to protect and maintain the phone, do you know how much of a resale value these phones have.lol. its crazy. ye im realy looking for a plastic see through case. i really want to see the back cover, but its hard to get a case. also im careless with my phone, when im busy with things, so i know ill just destroy it, i dont have time to use it carefully.lol. so i need good protection.
I can understand your point. However, the reason I buy a case Is strictly for resale value. When I go to resale a product, you get much more If It's In pristine condition.
ye i get u, i try not to spend money on apples own stuff, but some things, are just too good.lol. i mean for leather cases im more incline to stick to incase, sena if i have the money then vaja.lol. but in terms of plastic cases perhaps incase and speck.
its scratch proof to an extent, my first gen iphone has a lot fo scratches from the previous owner, so what do u say to that ? lol, there is no way that a phone screen wil resist all scratches, its scratch proof to a certain degree, after that strong scratches will mark the screen.
yep but thats how fussy ppl are in terms of condition, i mean yes the glass is scratch resistant to an extent, but we just like to have it in good condition. 1) maintain the phone condition to last longer 2) higher resale value. but u dont have to, just my view
yes but to an extent, it can still scratch, but tbh if ur careful u can survive without the sticker, but thats the point, u never know when your careless, it just happens.lol
