I would have to say that yes, Mark can and deserves to have the gimmick as the worlds strongest man in the wwe. in that 2002 arnold classic which as we know is harder than the mtrx because arnolds is pure static strength which mark has. The WWE has its strongest man in mark henry. we can argue all we want but have Mark train in strongman again and he may win again. he is defjinitly up there.
the reason he doesnt compete in the worlds strongest man competition is because he wouldnt win he may be able to bench or deadlift alot but theres a difference between functional strength and weightlifting strength

That was 1180 lbs of CHESSE that was attached to a bar much higher off the ground than a traditional barbell. Not the same as 1180 lb. barbell off the ground. Not even close.

This guy has never been into lifting as hardcore as guys like Mendellson and them. He would definately be up there with them or higher. Henry is a true definition of strength. Mark henry's wrestling gimmick is that hes the worlds strongest man, doesnt mean he is its entertainment, and Azn i dont care what some asshole can bench with a whole suit on whic takes so much pressure off the wieght, i doubt he can squat, clean and jerk or deadlift as much as henry has
you people do realise that he doesnt even train hard and he can do these weights? not to mention he didnt start at the right age either, if he went hardcore into powerlifting he would of left all these guys in the dust. and that lift wasnt 935lbs, it was closer to 915-920lb i think, although it was a huge lift indeed. i believe Mariusz Pudzianowski would be the strongest man, but hes injured alot when he goes into this stuff.. but im not huge on strongmen, so im not sure :)
and too much dumbasses.... i think hes not the world strongest man. (i think zydrunas savickas is) but sure one of the world strongest. and olympic lifting has not everything to do with absolute strength (much technique and explosive strength ofc)so why shitting about that? :P
