The ONLY way to bring jobs back to America is to lower the minimum wage to $2/hr.
This is the only way we can compete with China. Paul Ryan and my fellow republicans need to act on this now. Employers also should not have to carry the burdern of paying for health care either. Go get em Paul!
I don't get how this man can claim he is fiscally responsible. How did congress take a $400 billion surplus to $1 trillion dollar deficit from 2000-2008? Rubber stamping unnecessary tax cuts and wars? Creating a whole new trillion dollar entitlement? This man failed the people for a decade and now he wants to put blame on everyone but himself. What a snake. I don't understand how people think borrow and spend Republicans are better than tax and spend Democrats. Eventually we must pay.
Both parties screwed up? No kidding, Mr. Ryan! You voted for eight straight Bush budgets, meaning you spent $20 trillion dollars of taxpayer dollars and put us deeper into debt.
I hope all you unemployed, and soon to be unemployed inbred right wingers remember not one republican voted to extend unemployment comp!
AND, the very first thing they will do if they get the majority is to cut taxes for the wealthy elite. This is where thier hearts are at. How's that trickle down economics working for you?
AND, Ryan, Boner and the rest of that nigger clan want to privatize social security! If that happens you can kiss your retiremant goodbye! SUCKERS!
This is one of the most respectful discussions of the issues I have seen here. We need more open, honest and fact based discussions amongst intelligent people. Congratulations and keep the faith.
i like paul ryan, but i wonder (assuming he was around then) supported the iraq war and all it's funding and torture and wonder if he added to the rubber stamping they all gave to bush in his terms. i hope not. you see it's like ping pong, the parties are the paddles and we (not everyone though) are the balls, the sheep. left-right paradigm, repubs triple government and dems are against it, then dems win and they continue the sick policies and its the repubs that are outsiders. i don't think so.
I think there are too many viewpoints within both the R and D party and some need to branch out.
We need a strong Independent Party.. a strong Libertarian Party. We need a Fiscal Conservative Party without the religious and social issues.
Two parties just are not doing it. Most Americans are slightly Center Right.. and that is where a President needs to govern. From the Center. We will NEVER please everyone but the majority are near the Center.
I honestly do not understand how die-hard Democrats can't grasp this... It's simple mathematics. You don't "stimulate" the pool by taking water out of the deep end and moving it to the shallow end. You've created NOTHING - except the ripples in the water.
The real PROBLEM is that FAR FAR too many politicians have little-or-no experience in the private sector. They have no concept of how money is earned (not taken). To them, money just APPEARS when you approve a budget. Zero understanding.
i agree with your second paragraph, but will you say the same thing about the republicans who tripled the size of governemnt and started two wars, one of which was wrong.? repubs that wasted a surplus and left us with the biggest deficit ever? do you hold the repubs accountable as well? and dems are no better because they are continuing what the repbus accused them of, spending, waste etc. get out of the left-right paradigm(sp?) people. it's like a ping-pong game and you people are the ball.
oh, agreed. jersey here is in debt mainly because of dems. in 2012, i think lou dobbs is running against menendez (you know....menendez, the one who told la raza that he will try to get illegals into the healthcare bill?). we'll kick menendez out in 2012, that will be a start. better yet, vote out EVERY incumbant, try to go independent, and chances are america's part in the new world order will cease. ;-)
It is nice out here in Wa state... I agree about kicking out most of the incumbents. People that have been in there for 15+ years are stale and we need fresh people. I think we need more like Rep Paul Ryan. Everytime I hear him, he is smart and has SOLUTIONS. He will work with everyone too.
I think parties are OK.. but look at the rest of the world, especially Europe. 2 parties for 305 Million people isn't cutting it. We need at least 4 or 5. These two are way too powerful and THEY have become the problem. We either change them. Sadly the media is very powerful and we are gettting some tyranny from both political leaders and the media combined. We need to stand up and take back our Republic the way the Founders wanted it.
I am not a Republican, but this man, could be next President. That is if, he isn't having or going to have an affair. Paul Ryan stay faithful to your wife. Don't mess your future up, like Sanford and Ensign.
Every time a Republican says the word budget deficit to a member of the media the usual reply is "well you didn't have a problem with budget deficits in the Bush years." I just want to reply to them and say yes we didn't have a problem with it and look where it lead us. It lead us right straight out of the majority, which is where the the Democrats will be if they don't change their ways.
What's with the empty seats? Gee, when most people don't show up for their job they get fired. But these people keep getting paid wether you fire them or not! Then they want us to pay for all the people who vote for them who also don't work.
I love this guy!
