The game's not dead! Come and play it; just make sure to get the corrected installer from the forums- the file hosted from the official site is corrupted for some reason. But the game's worth it. The combat is awesome, the graphics are smooth, and the design is original. If you're tired of playing WoW clones or korean grindfests, this is the game for you. Seriously.

you know what, this game has been one of the biggest let downs in my gaming experience. I had read evreything about this game, waited patiently for it, then i saw the videos.

the graphics are sub par, the character animation is crap, each race has the same exact animation,. there is no shadow reality to speak of. they changed the racial characteristics half way through development for the worse.

all the characters are now ugly whereas before it was a beautiful game.

It will prbably only be for a limited amount of time, take Priston Tale it had a level cap then you had to pay, in a few months it went away. Sooo it may be that Acclaim needs some extra dollars, then the level cap will probably dissapere.

No, it's not free. You can create a f2p account and you can download the client for free, but there are alot of interdictions for a player with a f2p account. He won't be able to leave the f2p area, and you can reach a maximum level of 7 ( the normal lvl cap is 50). If you want to play the game you have to pay 13 euros (or 15 dollars)monthly to play the game.

hey mate, its unfortunate but you will have to register a beta account and then wait for an email from the company inviting you to test the beta and they will give you a game key, after youve got that..thats if you recieve one, you sign up for an account, when you do this before entering any details it asks you for your key, enter it, complete the details and it will follow on to the client download..im still waiting on my key but its only been about a day or 2..but this is a nice looking game.

well,you have to sign in as beta game tester and then it's matter of time if they choose you or not to get in the closed beta,but when the open beta arrive,your player in close beta will be deleted and you'll have to create a new one...

from what i understand, gameplay is rather smooth, fast paced. You would be better to think of it like a MMORPG FPS. You aim shots and dodge, but there are stats and "gear" to make you better. "gear" are stones you put into your armor that add stats n stuff. But i have faith in these guys, they played asherons call and that game was VERY good. Look up some pvp videos and you'll notice the combat is just as fast paced.

no, you can acquire new gear, whenever you fight a mob with something that looks cool, there is a chance that it will drop. You take that to a smith and add in some random materials and bam! you got new looking armor.
