  • Got my username from this song - such a classic; his voice and the lyrics - what an incredible combination!

  • who is jarvis's legendary girlfriend?

  • cool hi hat

  • sounds sooooooooooo bluddy english...

  • my favorite one

  • what is the song at the end?

  • It sounds like 'They Suffocate At Night' which is a single off the 'Freaks' LP (1987).

  • maybe stereolab? or high llamas?

  • Stereolab or High Llamas...maybe

  • First single from Separations. Actually, it was first released in 1991, then re-released in 1992 with a different track-listing, and finally in 1996 on CD featuring the original track-listing. I think it's a very patchy album, but at least it's got My Legendary Girlfriend on it, which was a bit of a turning point for Pulp. BTW, the video was filmed in some photo studio at St Martin's, and, believe it or not, according to Jarvis, was inspired by Unchained Melody, n. 1 at the time.

  • Never seen this!
