I'm not a truther, but I don't understand why none of the planes were intercepted. I mean, obviously, these planes would have completely errant flight patterns and no radio contact because of the hijacking. And this one was heading straight for the Pentagon, rapidly descending with no radio contact. The Twin Towers had just been hit not once, but TWICE by this time. Shootdown orders should've been issued a long time ago if they were ever issued at all. I still don't understand how this happened.

This is pivotal here, because it goes along with Minetta's testimony that Cheney was in fact NOT in charge of NORAD and that his aide was merely asking him if the orders still stood, to which Cheney replied: "Of course the orders still stand!..." This simply means that the orders that were in place, were ordered by his superior and hadn't changed. That means that he did not have the authority TO change them. Not that he gave the order and didn't rescind them. Truthers never get it.

@tha3immortals The fires were the main cause but the structure of the building itself contributed heavily. WTC7 was constructed over a ConEd power station, so rather than having a traditional foundation and column design, the building was held up by three trusses that straddled the station. Fires burning for hours and structural damage caused by debris from the Twin Towers caused at least one truss to fail, leading the others to fail. Also, no where close to free fall speed, more like double.
@tha3immortals Well, first off, it didn't implode. Second, there's no telling what was normal behavior for WTC7. It had a unique structural design and was placed under unique circumstances. I do know that there are no visible explosions on the exterior of the building (which there would be in the case of controlled demolition) and there were no devices found (which would be impossible to cover up given the number of volunteers and demolition clean up crews working the site).

There would be no visual explosions outside but there would be audible ones at street level, heard seconds after the aircraft struck the building.
Those aircraft making those buildings come straight down is against the laws of physics. Do the math.

Paper, wood desks, computer, etc. The fires created a prefect sulfiding enviroment, so the presence of iron sulfide prove nothing. A charge at the base of the building would not have caused the type of collapse we saw, no where close to it. You need to do the math on that. Also, it was the aircraft but the fires caused by the jet fuel that lead to the collapse. Competely within the laws of physics.

I'm not a truther, but I don't understand why none of the planes were intercepted. I mean, obviously, these planes would have completely errant flight patterns and no radio contact because of the hijacking. And this one was heading straight for the Pentagon, rapidly descending with no radio contact. The Twin Towers had just been hit not once, but TWICE by this time. Shootdown orders should've been issued a long time ago if they were ever issued at all. I still don't understand how this happened.

Well, here's one problem I see with 'THE MASSES'. My neighbour is a HUGE Alex Jones fan. He believes in this conspiracy shit, and continues to make baseless claims about WTC 7 etc. So I asked him, what would convince you that 911 was actually the result of terrorism? He claimed...."Nothing". He even went as far as to say "I want Alex Jones to be right".

This is pivotal here, because it goes along with Minetta's testimony that Cheney was in fact NOT in charge of NORAD and that his aide was merely asking him if the orders still stood, to which Cheney replied: "Of course the orders still stand!..." This simply means that the orders that were in place, were ordered by his superior and hadn't changed. That means that he did not have the authority TO change them. Not that he gave the order and didn't rescind them. Truthers never get it.

ive watched all these videos today and i wanna say thanks to RKOwens4 for them, they are highly educational and enjoyable. one thing i find most disappointing though is that even when shown scientific fact as well compelling evidence with references (something which allows statistics and quotes to remain in context) people still are clinging to there conspiracy theories. and this is coming from someone who's family friend died on 9/11

@tha3immortals The fires were the main cause but the structure of the building itself contributed heavily. WTC7 was constructed over a ConEd power station, so rather than having a traditional foundation and column design, the building was held up by three trusses that straddled the station. Fires burning for hours and structural damage caused by debris from the Twin Towers caused at least one truss to fail, leading the others to fail. Also, no where close to free fall speed, more like double.

@tha3immortals Well, first off, it didn't implode. Second, there's no telling what was normal behavior for WTC7. It had a unique structural design and was placed under unique circumstances. I do know that there are no visible explosions on the exterior of the building (which there would be in the case of controlled demolition) and there were no devices found (which would be impossible to cover up given the number of volunteers and demolition clean up crews working the site).

@camalusthegodofwar actually the presence of iron sufide deposits in the rubble indicates the use of thermate, which would have only had to be used in the basement and would need only one device, a computer and a few small electric blasting cap. There would be no visual explosions outside but there would be audible ones at street level, heard seconds after the aircraft struck the building.
Those aircraft making those buildings come straight down is against the laws of physics. Do the math.

@carlo75x There was suffer present in practically everything in the WTC except the steel. Paper, wood desks, computer, etc. The fires created a prefect sulfiding enviroment, so the presence of iron sulfide prove nothing. A charge at the base of the building would not have caused the type of collapse we saw, no where close to it. You need to do the math on that. Also, it was the aircraft but the fires caused by the jet fuel that lead to the collapse. Competely within the laws of physics.

It's quite clear Cheney was running NORAD that day. Someone was preventing NORAD from scrambling jets when needed. And i highly doubt it was the drills. The only purpose to wait that long before sending a single jet could only be to let 9-11 happen and open the doors to head to war. We're all students of this event and the more i look into it each day I find a little more information that supports both sides. (issued by Joint Staff Director VADM Scott Fry, NOT by Rumsfeld) LIBERALIZED the shootdown procedure by allowing an exception for extraordinary circumstances. The 1997 Instr. allowed no such exceptions. And the Instruction was addressed to NORAD, not to the Joint Chiefs who don't control any military units.
