  • Stfu and get back to your World of Warcraft geek

  • @TheRealBirdmann Maybe if your QB wasn't high on meth and crack you would've had a chance.

  • @HuskyAlum2008

lol washington is a pretty prestigious football school. actually I heard its one of the premiere schools everyone wants to go there... oh yeah naaaaaahht. I know why people commit suicide up there Because washington fucking sucks Id want to kill myself if I lived up there too.

  • Washington won... But their uniforms were a fail!

  • @TheRealBirdmann uhh those true gold pants and purple kush jerseys are fuckn epic, go eat a bird cock faggot

  • Those UW unis were hard!

  • Comment removed

  • The infamous FRUIT BASKET

  • they need to go back to these uniforms, they were the best.

  • @SFFOOL76 i like the GOLD color and the deeper purple

  • @SFFOOL76 and they need the gold endzones back

  • @thedereklee9 they had them last year... i like the purple better personally

  • Those Husky teams in the early 90's were great..too bad they choked against ucla in 1990 or they would've won back to back national championships

  • @emmitt2200

I thought they were nastiest team in 1990. It honestly baffles me that they lost to UCLA at home. They played tough against Colorado on the road. Personally the way it ended in 1990, GEORGIA TECH should have won it out right. Colorado needed a 5th down a phantom clip called against Notre Dame.

  • @SFFOOL76 yeah..but they were some bad boys...that's when husky stadium was rockin'..loudest place i've ever heard watching a game on tv..unreal

  • one of the rare sunny husky saturdays!

  • Thanks for the cool posts SC fans. I hope that Washington gets back and that SC will stay great I think it would be one of the most looked forward to games every year.

  • I hope the Dawgs get back to their former selves...from an SC fan

  • Its so crazy to see how college football was back then. None of them would have never expected to see UWs 0-12 season under Willingham. Or USC BCS titles, or Rose bowl victories. Or UWs over win SC last season. Or the Legacy of Pete Carroll, or the introduction of coach Stark. I cannot wait to see this years game. Huskies are come away with the W. Go DAWGS!

  • We were given 2 tix in the Big W section for this game right before kickoff, and afterwards were given 4 M's boxseats behind first for the next day's game against the White Sox by an SC fan we met at Ivars. Helluva day for us, helluva day for the Dawgs..

  • Man was Brunell fast!!!

  • haha. little bit a of a difference between the #5 team in the nation and a shitty ass 0-12 UW team with no Jake Locker or any reason to compete. You're an idiot

  • stop ur cryin n be Wazzu fan olready. they didnt go 0-12. haha!

  • Young Mark Brunell!

  • 31-0 huh? well dat doesnt beat USC shutting out UW puppies last year 56-0. haha!

  • usc lost to washington this year though

  • yes dude, i kno dat. it aint gonna happen nex year tho.

  • well get ready cause LOCKER IS COMMING BACK you guys only have one win against him

  • dude, dont even speak on UW, yall got lucky dis year. dem sorry washington puppies is cmg down 2 L.A. to get owned on. aint no upset nex year buddy, with or without wack locker.

  • yeah who are you going to put in the game for qb tho? barkely who showed nothing, corp which spoke for himself? come on you loosing taylor mays so the defence isn't a worry anymore, and uw is bringing back 7 starters of d 9 on o. so come next year you can go cry like you did this year either way usc is going down hill and you all will cry about it till you get use to it

  • and that still isn't as sweet as beating a #3 USC team 16-13, man you guys were throwing excuses all over the place there, SO SWEET IT IS

  • wow! speaking of gng downhill. u sorry ass uw puppies would kno all about dat gng 0-12 a year ago! haha! besides did u guys have a winnin record dis year n our u guys gng 2 a bowl game? oh no, dats rite, u guys r gonna sit at home n watch SC n the rest of the Pac-10 who have winnin seasons play in bowl game.

  • yeah we didn't get a bowl game and yes we did loose every game last year. but what does last year have to do on next year??? now answer me this how much confidence should you have since every time locker has faced USC it has been a difference of 3 points in each game? and now with a better supporting cast what do you think will happen? plus why sould i try to talk to you all USC players do is bicker cause "corp" lost it, so all USC fans are really cry babies anyways so go put your diaper on

  • @Poccets Like f*ck it doesn't. You have to take into account the relative strength of the two teams at the time. When the Dawgs kicked USC's ass in 1990, USC was coming off of THREE STRAIGHT Pac-10 championships in football. Plus they had "Robo-QB" Todd Marinovich. In 2008 Washington finished 0 - 12. Not quite the same accomplishment, is it?

  • hey! its not USC's fault u guys went 0-12 dat year, oh w8. we played a 1/12 part in dat, the other 11/12 kickd ur ass to make it 0-12. like adding fractions. hahaha!!

  • @Poccets do u know how much of a fucking douchebag u look like when youtube doesnt get your replies right and it shows like 5 of your comments in a row. quit hatin u fuckin faggot. just because usc is goin in the gutter now and UW has the next heisman winner. i cant wait to see Locker stomp USCs fuckin face in

  • @ seatown206. next wheisman winner? dont make laugh u pice of shit bitch! UW is comin down to L.A. dis year u faggot ass bitch!

  • @Poccets Good comeback. You're an idiot. Im done talking with someone who doesnt know how to spell

  • Of course it's not "USC's fault" that the Dawgs went 0 - 12 in 2008. But SURELY you can't believe that there was as much satisfaction for USC in beating what turned out to be a winless team in 2008 as there was for the Huskies when they beat the then-three time defending Pac-10 champs in 1990! Also, this "puppies" stuff - during Don James time in Seattle the "puppies" actually had a winning record against the Trojans (over 18 years). Keep that in mind next time you wanna call the Dawgs, "puppies

  • hey i ll give u guys props during the Don James era, u guys were thee power house of the Pac-10 but overall as far most Pac-10 championships, Heisman trophy winners, National Championships n Rose Bowl Championships, u guys dont even come close. keep that in mind next time u wanna bring up history in the Pac-10.

  • Well, DUH! EVERYONE who knows college football knows that USC's been THE top football program in the Pac-10 over time. There's no disputing that. But now that "Coach Sark" appears to have the U-Dub on the rebound AND USC has lost Pete Carroll, let's see how well the Trojans do. Thanks, BTW, for acknowledging that when Don James was the Husky coach it was the HUSKIES, not the Trojans, who had the best football program in the Pac-10!

  • @80svideoluvr yea, well UW had their little run back in the 90's. im all 4 the Pac-10 tho man, i hate the overrated SEC n Big-12. they always favored in the BCS. it also sucks that we dont have a split division n a conference championship. i olready kno Coach Sark is gonna bring UW back up, he only came frum a dynasty team so he knows what it takes. haha!

  • that's true.

  • oh how pretty it was beating them here then saturday, just wish it could of been by more. my oh my was that pretty

  • USC better get ready for another one of these soon.

  • now lets go out there saturday and do this exact same t hing

  • Well I am sure you are familiar with rugby. It is similar in many ways except that the collisions in American football are more intense - and that is why all the equipment and pads are necessary. Other than that, it is a fun sport to watch as long as you understand the basics of the game.

  • lets get pete carroll to say "all i saw was purple" and really shock the WORLD

  • While I am sure Washington only continue to improve over time, I don't think that will be happening this year or next where they will have Pete Carroll saying that.

I am sure that will happen when Pete Carroll attends the Washington vs USC basketball game...but I don't see that happening in football.

  • i am not saying it will or will not happen but UW has 8-9 returning starters on defence after this season and 9 returning on offence, they are loosing only a LG and a FB. so they will not be hurting and if they keep progressing UW will take the PAC ten by storm next year as locker will be even more accurate and smarter. Finally he will be able to step out into the light and get the attention he deserves, on top of him all of his wr's are comming back as well

  • I am a USC fan that actually hopes that UW will become a great again. Competition in the conference is a great thing. It will happen that they will become good again and represent the PAC 10 very well once again. I for one hate how UW, WSU and Stanford have become punch lines for those who wish to claim that the PAC-10 is a very weak conference.

  • out of every USC fan out there you are the most grateful, every other one has complained about corp. i hope that UW and USC do become PAC 10 powers. and me being a UW fan i hope they win the rose bowl every year but then USC tearing up another BSC bowl.

  • well, even though I did not like seeing USC do their yearly dropping of a seemingly slam dunk game, I guess it is better they lose to a team whose system is most similar to theirs. The only thing I hope is that UW is for real. And after watching their performance again LSU and then USC, they seem to be. I just hope they do remember to bring the same intensity every week like they had on Saturday game against the Trojans. It will be better that USC lost against a good team rather than a weak one

  • hey! blame that on sorry ass Wazzu. but UW & Stanford is comin up. Pac-10 is strong conference.

  • Not as disturbing as watching "Die Mannschaft" play soccer, as far as I'm concerned.

  • It could be disturbing due to the violent nature to it. I love soccer/football the passion of it, however I feel there is not machismo/toughness when a player goes down, they stay down for a while then necessary.

  • Brunell was better than Hobart. If only Brunell wouldnt have broken his leg......

  • I dunno. I LOVED Mark Brunell, but Billy Joe Hobert never lost as a Husky. On the field, that is. I'd rate them as pretty even, at least when they were in college, though Mark Brunell was the better runner. I'll put it this way: no matter which one of those guys was in the game for the Dawgs back then, I was confident of the Dawgs' chances of winning (though the Dawgs having a "kick-ass" defense sure didn't hurt!!).

  • "No Jerseys, No Numbers, Just Purple."

  • This game was the coming out party for the eventual 1991 NC team. One of the best games in Husky football history. Was it really 20 years ago? Go Dawgs!

  • Im honestly baffled how they lost to UCLA late in November, it would have been back to back championships 1990/1991. As the phrase goes coulda, shoulda , woulda. I thought there 1990 team was just as good as the 1991 team.

  • Psychology by then-Bruin coach Terry Donahue. The week leading up to the game he "talked the Huskies up" and combined with UCLA's mediocre (4-5) record going into that game, it was clear to me when I watched that day that the Dawgs weren't mentally prepared to play that day, and even so they came back to tie the game at 22 before losing on that late Brad Daluiso FG. On ANY OTHER Saturday that year I think the Dawgs would've beaten the Bruins - they just happened to catch the Dawgs on an off day.

  • Correct. I couldn't believe we lost to frickin' UCLA! Another problem: UW stomped Arizona 54-0 the week before, clinching a Rose Bowl berth with two games left. Face it, the Huskies laid an egg and it cost them a national title. (Although they would've had to fight for votes with the 1990 CU "5th Down" Buffs, one of the luckiest title teams ever and the only other team to beat UW that year, 20-14.)

  • Yeah, I remember that game. Sort of. I tried getting the guy at the sports bar in San Diego to put it on for me and all he could get was the score. That was one of the few times I questioned Coach James. As I recall the Dawgs had the ball inside the Buff 5 with under a minute left, first down, and attempted four straight passes. The Buffs were good that year and I guess Coach James figured the Dawgs couldn't run the ball in.

  • And yeah, I remember that "5th down" game of Colorado's against Missouri that year, too. The Buffs were a good team, but they got lucky on that one. Plus I didn't like their "holier-than-thou" coach so I've not been a Colorado Buffalo fan, since. I'll be pulling for the CSU Rams in the two teams' opener next month.

  • at least we were the best at times! that makes me happy to know we wernt shitty EVERY year!

  • "All I saw was purple"

  • What a painful way to begin a season. Marinovich must have been stoned. UW played a great game and deserved to hand us a donut.

  • wow a objective USC fan, I would buy you a beer if you said that me at a bar. That usc team were pretty decent for the rest of the year, however this was an ass kicking. Now USC does the ass kicking.

  • I'd like to see Washington get back into prominence. Last year was a disaster for the Huskies and you gave us a great game the year before.

Believe it or not, there are some classy USC fans, but everyone has their homers.

  • The Trojans had won the previous four games in the series, three of which had been in L.A. I think the Dawgs were eager to put that losing streak to an end. I'd say they did a pretty good job of it.

  • The 2008 Huskies where the best ever! Undefeated in losses baby whooo!!!!

  • hahaha uuhh please stop living in the past cause the present is a whole nother story

  • I was always a big USC fan back then, but I remembered being very pissed off when I read in a newspaper that the Washington program was going to be penalized in the early '90s.

There was no doubt to me that they were only getting the shaft because they are a Pac10 team. The NCAA has always been harder on the West coast teams then Eastern teams.

If it was fair, Miami would have been on probation all the damn time in those days!

  • @FoxfireX1 Umm. What? Miami was sanctioned in the 90's. UW got what was coming to them. So did Miami. They didn't get the shaft from the NCAA. They got what was rightfully coming to you. You do realize the PAC-10 investigated them also right? This was UW's own demise. No one elses. You can't have players accepting money, cars and steroids and not expect the NCAA to come snooping.

  • @architect09 so did USC haha

  • USC had a good team that year, not one of Larry Smith's best, but ended regular season a very good team, but that day they played poorly. Not to take away from Washington, they had a great team that year, and would have beat USC even if USC played well.

The next year Washington had the best defense I have ever seen ever in college football, from 1980 to 1998 when I stopped watching college football.

  • you could not run against UW in 1991. That was a complete team , the only college team I think was better was the 1995 nebraska team.

  • Why did you stop watching college football?

  • Because I started seeing the more important big picture...that large amounts of tax payer money goes to giving scholarships to many guys that can hardly write their own name, let alone deserve to be in college at our expense. Then these guys get pampered and sometimes turned into heros while they go on to the NFL or NBA to make tens of millions of dollars doing something that is unproductive in society. The truth is if real students were playing college football we would enjoy it just the same

  • You're probably right, but I'm a college football fanatic and I can't get enough of it. The NFL? I got tired of that many years ago. So much so that I can barely bring myself to watch even Super Bowls these days, let alone any other NFL games in any given season.

  • But USC crushed Washington 56-0 in '08; 38-0 in '04.

Payback from USC! Fight on Trojans!

  • Uh huh. Big freakin' deal. In case you haven't noticed, the Huskies haven't been beating very many teams these days. THAT Trojan team was the three-time defending Pac-10 champions. The 1990 Trojan team wasn't GREAT, but it wasn't NEARLY as bad as the Husky teams have been in recent years, either. Beating that Trojan team, and shutting it out, was a HUGE accomplishment. Beating the Huskies in football these days? Not much of an accomplishment at all.

  • this UW defense was so good it make my dick hard

  • "All I saw was purple. No jerseys, no numbers, just purple.

  • Ah, the good old days when the Dawgs were a national powerhouse!! You come into the stadium and get a beat down while you were getting a beat down! Not anymore. That fuckstick Willingham brought this team down to the depths of embarrasment. Asshole!!!!

  • I'd say the trouble started for the Dawgs when Don James resigned when he felt he wasn't getting enough support from "Upper Campus." In particular, when he lost Mike Lude as his A.D. and the U-Dub administration brought the ex-Trojan Barbara Hedges in. Now that she's gone maybe they can get U-Dub football back to where we'd all like it to be: tough, dangerous, and (deservedly) respected.

  • Sadly, it'll be a long time before we ever see football like this again. It could be a decade or more at the rate we are going right now. Anyone hear Coach James say that Willingham needs two more years? Unbelievable.

Willingham is 11-30 at Washington. The 4th worst record in Pac-10 history and we should keep him two more years?

There just isn't any motivation to put a winning product on the field.

Telling Emtman he can only have one field pass per year? Sickening beyond words.

  • I was actually supportive of Tyrone Willingham after the mess that was the Neuweasel and Gilby years. But when you go winless in a given season and lose to your rival which people had been talking about as THE worst Pac-10 football team in history earlier in the season, that pretty spells the end of your coaching career on Montlake. I have no idea how Steve Sarkisian is going to do as Huskies head coach, but I know ONE thing: his team can't be any worse than the 2008 team was!

  • Oregon State owned USC Today

  • I'm a USC alum, and was a sophomore for this game, and couldn't beileve how loud Husky Stadium was that day. I hope UW football gets back to what it was because football is better when the Huskies are good. Nice video.

  • Man, those were the days! The Dawgs were ALL OVER the (then) three-time defending Pac-10 champion Trojans that day. I was in the Navy at this time so I watched this game pretty much all by myself in a corner of a sports bar just off the "32nd Street" base in San Diego. Nobody else gave a f*ck about this game, but I was one happy Husky fan!! This was the famous, "I saw no names, no numbers, just purple. That's all I saw" postgame quote by then Trojan quarterback Todd "RoboQB" Marinovich. Go UW!

  • I was too young to remember this game, but my dad always says it was the proudest he's ever been to be a Husky. Thank you HuskyAlum2008 for putting this on youtube so dawg fans can remember the glory days. If you could somehow fix the audio/visual that would be great.

  • how old is this

  • 1990

  • nice, but the audio is so far ahead it kinda spoils the video.

  • Don James outfit at 4:50 and the music at 5:11...!!!! .... i miss the 90's
