@shaktibutterfly, can you tell us what tour you took (half day, full day, 2 day, 3 day, 7 day)? Did you find it to be too expensive for what you received/saw or just that the initial cost seemed expensive until you arrived at Damanhur and saw the Temples of Humankind? We want to understand your feedback so we can make any necessary changes.
I have been there it is very beautiful but very expensive to come in and I felt as if I was rushed through the tour. I have not regretted it but would have wished for more time in the temples to feel the atmosphere.

@Ozymandias495 There is an article on Cracked dot com that came out this week that gives a short history of what happened with the police came looking. There are also some books that give more details, such as Damanhur by Jeff Merrifield.
I heard some eccentric had dreams about a temple so he built this under his house with the help of a few friends. Then, after a few years, the Italian police became suspicious of their activity and raided the house.
