I don't quite understand why the media likes to say that Casey Anthony's pretty. Average looking girl, nothing to write home about. It has no bearing on her case one way or another, it just puzzles me. Does it just make her case more compelling if she's painted as a "young beauty"? I don't think you need any extra angles to sell her story to the public.

at least they found Amanda innocent in the appeal trial. the Italian forensics team botched up the investigation. the only evidence they had to convict Amanda was a knife that had a hint of Amanda's DNA on the handle, even though the real killer left more DNA on the knife. now for Casey. She never showed concern over Caylee. Her parents covered up the whole thing. Their car smelled like a decomposing body and kept hush for months. to prove my point, Amanda was (is) innocent, Casey's guilty.

@JustListenGeorge She seemed innocent until proven guilty but the media (both the UK and the US media) crucified her with character assassination (she drank, partied and had sex, OMG! she is a MURDERER), the police botched the investigation and they beleived the lies told by the man who actually killed Meredith Kercher.

@JustListenGeorge She did. The problem is that because the girl's body was found in skeleton already forensics couldn't find anything that could incriminate her. So they could only determine cause of death but not by whom. As for Casey I wouldn't be surprised if she had done it indeed, I have seen what girls like her do abroad after a few drinks, and it is fucked up, to say the least. But if she did do it it will eventually catch up with her in some way. What goes around...
