It's sort of a simulation, yes, where you control all factors and aspects of a soccer team, except actually controlling the individual players on the pitch directly. You can 'control' them by assigning each player with instructions and tactics, however.

Virtua soccer roflz, how they cross looks so unrealalitic, over hyped game, goes flops, probly nice database, also bad gameplay 3d, fifa manager is much better the last copel years, i played football manager till 2000 from 1997, sinds i was an kid, but now i see fifa manager is much better, they make indiv actions, fake cross's ans go in the box, they shoot ice with good animation, 3dgameplay is very nice, and the data base is world wide with License if fifa = fifa = football

The FM series has out sold Fifa manager for many years now. The match engine has been honed since Championship Manager 4 when the 2D view was first introduced. The addition of a 3D engine is merely an enhancement of any already excellent game. Why anyone would prefer to play Fifa manager is beyond me...

The 3D Engine is based exactly on the 2D engine, that means that the exact same thing would happen in the 2D mode otherwise they wouldn't have been able to put it in.

This looks as though it's going to be the first REVOLTIONARY Football Manager title in years! Every year the new FM game generates excitement but this one seems so vastly improved it's scary! I've read a fair bit (of unfair) critisism aimed at SI after FM08 claiming that they were resting on their laurels but this year looks as though it's going to blow us away good and proper. I can't wait for the demo but that's nothing compared to the anticipation I harbour for Nov 14th!!

The keepers look too small for the goals. The players on a whole look too small for the size and scale of the pitch. But other than that, AMAZING. So so so cool. There are always negatives with positives, but this does look spectacular.
