  • omg it is SO SCARY going up it! thats the only thing that scared me about it because it wobbled and i thought we were gonna fall lol anyways i had a lot of fun on that ride :)

  • me(230lbs) and my two deffencive line coaches (400 and 300 lbs) all sat in the front of that . so much fun!

  • I was rlly scared when we were going up and when we were going down i was like this is fun!

  • awww tht was on my b-day i could of went on it D:

  • cant ppl fall off of tht ? :O

  • @Damnnbitches No ... there are safety restraints--for both the riders and the boats.

  • @HoliBlogger k gud

  • Looks like youget dropped in the water l0l

  • Perilous Plunge is WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY better than this

  • il fait pas de grosses éclaboussures à l'arrivée

  • it dosent have a big splash because you go so fast you glide over the water

  • @efoster69 Then why do rides like Perilous Plunge or Hydro have such ginormous splashes at their high speeds?

  • @RocketRodder This ride was designed not to do an initial big splash. If you look closely, you see that the track right at the bottom is too high for the boat to create a big splash. At this incredible speed, a direct impact with the water could potentially flip the boat over or even damage the boat itself. At least that's just my engineering opinion.

  • @0Slipknot0 Gee. Never thought about it that way. :O

    That makes sense.

  • it don look so scary lol but if u ride sure scary

  • I want to visit this park but just do not have the money or confindence to know how to find the place but garetee though I will come and visit there nothing is gonna stop me.

  • The Perilous PLunge is faster, but Tidal Wave at Thorpe Park has a huge splash!

  • not much splash

  • how fast is that thing

  • @harrier331 50 Mph

  • @cannibalonXthedead wow that is fast for a water ride

  • big drop, puny splash

  • Yeah it sounds amazing! , guess il just have to jus stick to tanning and swimming this summer :/

  • OMG THAT LOOKS AWESOME theres nothing like tha here in australia -___-

  • @qetbacc You should come visit. Its an Amazing park. However Saturday is the last day for ridesl likes this one. Everything water oriented closes Saturday. Its loacted in Santa Clause, Indiana, USA

  • Eerst voel je dezelfde als in de lift van MCH westeinde dan voel je dezelfde als in flits in tikibad.

  • whats that rollercoaster called at the end of the video?

  • @alanm4072 That's The Voyage roller coaster at Holiday World.

  • @HoliBlogger thanks

  • where is this?

  • @ttul8r1 Pilgrims Plunge is in Holiday World, located in Santa Claus, Indiana

  • its far far far away than where i live

  • holiday world is soo much fun you all have to go i went with me mom and sis last year!!! SO FREAKIN AWESOME!!!! adn the pilgram plunge is really awesome to lol :)P

  • how tall is this?

  • Where is this place?

  • its only 131,feet. thats a bit shorter than your average roller coaster, so it really isnt that bad, maybe the lift up would be kinda scary.

  • here how to get there from Arizona to here, first you go to flagstaff and get on interstate 40 and take it to Oklahoma and get on interstate 44 and take 44 to East St Louis and then get on interstate 64 and take 64 to Ferdinand and exit on 162 and take it all the way to Santa Claus and then you should see Holiday world to your right.

  • Is it rlly the tallest? It seems kinda short 2 b da tallest in the world...

  • wow this just came on tarvel channel

  • Didn't Holiday World promise 40+ feet high?

  • lmao that girls lingering scream..

  • how tall is it?

  • 130 feet

  • kool

  • I know one ride im never going on now :O

  • omg amazing ride! rode it in july for the first time it was the best water ride ive ever been on! Props to the Park!

  • sorry its been six years that I've been to St Louis.

  • Crazy! it looks like they don't even get wet because they're going so fast

  • whats the closest international airport to Santa Clause beside, St Louis Lamda Int Airport?

  • Evansville, Indiana ... Owensboro, Kentucky ... Louisville, Kentucky

  • The one in Indianapolis is pretty close to it. About two and a half hours. It is worth it. It is definantly the best park I have been to. September 18 is the last day for Ride slike Pilgrims Plunge, and the water park. You had better go if ur going to. They also have one called the Wildebest which is the best!!!

  • WOW i was expecting alot more from this ride when i first heard of it.. and now just remembered about it.. looks dissapointing to be honest

  • i went to holiday world this summer and rode that, ti was amazing. it goes like over 50 mph!

  • The key to a big splash down is the amount of water at the bottom. Since the boat is going it's fastest at the bottom, if it hit a large amount of water it would cause the boat to slow too fast and cause a large amount of G's.

  • The tower is 165 feet tall ... the drop is 131 feet.

  • i meant for the type of ride...

  • its a big splash for shoot the chutes

  • where's the enormous splash?

  • my birthday date! :)

  • the voyage is the best. ride it then look at ur picture

  • haha, it made me laugh when it got to the bottom and everyone stopped screaming for the splash even though it was a while ahead.

  • Wasn't this ride supposed to have an ENORMOUS splash at the end?

  • how many meters is that fall?

  • Depends on when you visit ... so far lines have not been bad at all. As it gets warmer out, though, more people will want to ride.

  • Thank you

  • Good question! This is the first time they've made boats this size ... once they were tested it was obvious the smaller boats wouldn't make as huge a splash as they'd told us. (It's still a very respectable splash.)

  • Oh okay

The splash is still pretty good though!

I'm going twice next month so I'll have 2 chances to ride it. Are the lines really long?

  • Not nearly as steep as The Voyage. But still ... steep and wet! :0)

  • How come the splash isn't as big as they said it would be?

  • I will be going on that on Thursday! Can't wait! Is the drop as steep as the Voyage? I've been on the Voyage and it was pretty steep! I was like flying out of my seat! But it was fun!

  • I can't believe I'm riding this in a month!

  • Im totally riding this in 2 weeks! :DD

  • still pretty small

  • Man they get drenched!! I'm amazed at how big the splash is.

  • I've yet to see the 90' wall of water that was advertised

  • Ok well the drop looks fun and scary and all, but when you get to the bottom you expect a BIG splash finish and then you get, well that ^

I think they should have made the splash bigger because it like going on a roller coaster but its only the first hill :\

  • you guys need to put up an on-ride video.

  • wow you can really see the speed from this angle.

  • What an amazing looking attraction! You guys should build (as your next big thrill ride) a custom B&M Inverted coaster or B&M Hyper-if its within the budget of course :)

  • I think Intamin coasters are more original to the more cookie cutter B&M coasters.

  • It depends on the park's budget and space given for the ride. Sometimes it'll be very original, other times it wont.

  • They should just build a Vekoma SLC :P
