  • I so like your introduction and the ease in which you present the connection of astrology with music. Sagittarius rising is so much fun and welcoming to be around and then being a Taurean you have all that creative earthy energy. Am I correct in saying that or is the sun in Gemini. Doesn't matter anyway, Geminis are the messengers or communicators of the world. You definitely are a reincarnation of a Christ consciousness. Great work!

  • Thank you for the confirmation. I looked into Astrology some time ago and could not determine from your chart whether the sun was in Taurus or Gemini. The depth in which you research a subject did indicate a Taurean influence. My chart is dominated by Venus, Saturn and Uranus, with very little water or fire signs in the chart. Sun, Moon, Rising and most other relevant planets are in Earth and Air, a combo of Libra, Aquarius, Capricorn and Taurus. Most planets are in houses 9,10,11.

  • music astrology and alchemy = trinity of illumination...

  • that was so beautiful, thanks 4 sharing .:.

  • @sesignus it's definitely interesting and makes some very basic sense for sure. thanks again my friend.

  • @sesignus

Very interesting observations and ideas. thank you very much for sharing.

i can accept the sun and the moon to begin... but why did you select C as the root note for the father/sun? this is important.

also, we could potentially start with the beginning of the astrological zodiac and assign the root note to mars, since he is initiatory... another angle.

i can see that mercury and venus both are assigned two notes in the whole scale. makes sense. thanks again.

  • @MosheDan9

there may be more complex ways of approaching this. Rather than just moving from the Sun to the left around the zodiac, which is too simple, in my opinion, it may be necessary to consider the orbital motion of the planets as their frequencies and translate that to notes. there is also their own spinning on tier axis. doing it that way, orbitally, we get different values. i do like the logic with what you have shared and how saturn and mars show their dissonant nature. need more time

  • @MosheDan9

do a search for nick anthony fiorenza on planetary harmonics. he demonstrates how complex it is to accurately surmise the frequency of a planet. however, i do like the simple approach too, though i am not sure how much it actually is accurate toward what the planets really do sound like. we may need to keep it earth relative and work from there.

  • its about time someone put it together.with out fluffing us to death

  • Oh, all my recent postings were meant to be one postings but you tube won't let me post more then 200 characters. It makes most sense if you read backwards from the bottom post to the top! lol

  • I thought the whole tone scale (C-D-E-F#-G#-A#) might make more sense because the polar axises (Aries-Libra or Aquarius-Leo) have sometimes been referred to exhibiting the same qualities as each other but each on different levels or octaves whereas a square being perpendicular is two energies at odds with one another or crossing each others paths, and to me this screams tritone.

  • @anarchofolk

very good thinking here. there was another youtuber that had asked me if she could hear her the music of her entire birthchart. I have been thinking on it and then you posted this. you may be onto something with the whole tone scale. there may be something else that we need to consider, which is a spherical three dimensional form of music which is less linear than what we have presently. So... a more complicated form of music! what do you think?

  • I also tried using a 6 note whole tone scale(C-D-E-F#-G#-A#) around the zodiac and it seemed to work. The tritones then become your squares and the oppositions become the octaves.

  • This seems to be counter-intuitive because a grand trine (all three elemental signs) should harmonize with each other right? Furthermore, What happens if you play the intervals in the opposite direction? If I take the fundamental C and go clockwise 120degs I get a nasty sounding G#. Shouldn't all of the notes in a trine sound in harmony regardless of the direction? All though maybe because the planets only go in one direction the scale should do the same. Any thoughts?

  • @anarchofolk

you pose an excellent question. we do know that the grand trine is harmonious and so the music of it should be too. i don't think we can play all the notes made up by them together, but rather, play them individually and imagine them being played together. for instance, what made you decide that the first planet should be the root, the 2nd should be the major 3rd and then the third planet is the major third of the 2nd planet? Remember, the stars around us are a sphere.

  • Your video is very inspiring! I have been researching this for a while and am extremely fascinated with the idea! :-) I began doing the same thing about three years ago but discovered that some of the aspects do not line up. Like for example the trine, The 1sthouse to the 5th make a major3rd at 120degs and then the 5th house to the 9th make a major3rd. The same is also true from the 9th house to the 1st, but if you play all three notes together you get an ugly augment fifth chord (C-E-G#)

  • @anarchofolk

Anarchofolk, thanks for all your great comments. this is a good point and a great question. i think what we're discovering is that it is not so logical. there is a way to demonstrate a beautiful connection between music and the stars, so the music of the spheres, but it doesn't mean that we can translate this idea into all astrological aspects.

  • please contact me at the youtube channel charlotterules2009. i am fascinated with this video & would like to do some further investigating. thank you for taking your time to make videos that show your research results

  • fascinating

  • that depends the house system you use my friend, just for this I can see that from ASTROLOGY you have mutch more to learn, but tryng is goog, now in your astral map the houses arent all 30degrees aer they?music astrology, seven planets, seven notes

  • interesting video. I agree completely that there's a correlation between music and astrology. I think your'e on to something. I think the orb value on you're example chart is a little high though.

  • thanks for the feedback. can you explain which orb value you're referring to? I know a seven to eight degree orb is considered acceptable for planetary relationships... i'd like that to be a little smaller for music, like 3 percent, would give still a nice sounding harmony, resonance. remind me what i said and what is the context please?

  • @MosheDan9 you have to be carefull of your neptune in your 12house,its good that you are studying astrology,i´m 34,and i study since i was 14,and you never call yourself astroleger, neither thus i,we are only iniciatades, but that the first spet, continue,if you´d like we can compare notes and fine more interested people,i´m going to subscribe your channel, and ive you subscribe mine youll find a lot a people like us continue tauros-asc sagitarius

  • Wow, very very interesting. So can you make music baced on planetary aspects?

  • well, one can think of it that way metaphorically... and yeah, it would make some sort of music with the different planetary aspects, though i don't think it would sound like anything resembling what we know of as music.

  • very cool thanks fof sharing

  • very awesome, thank you :)

  • Nice video,

    thanks for sharing.

    ;-)

  • you're so welcome! i appreciate the note!

  • great video i love astrology, there is many connections not just with music but other things like plants etc

  • you're absolutely right. Astrology, plants, alchemy, they are intimately connected. thanks for your comment..

  • I noticed a relationship too between music and astrology. Thanks for going into detail...and posting the videos for those not schooled enough in the two fields. Its amazing how someone can totally enjoy music and then be a complete detractor of astrology. Maybe this video will enlighten them.

  • i linked my latest vid to this one btw

    this needs spreading:)

  • thanks my man!

  • Just what I was looking for! think youd enjoy my channel as well

    good chart i general too!

  • thank you very much.

  • I met this man named David who scribbled something on a piece of paper at the youth hostel I was staying at in Albequerque N.M. - and then I just kept exploring and expanding on that further, and coming to a deeper understanding.

  • Moshe,

Incredible insights! How did you discover this? Amazing indeed! This is just another way of seeing how all things are connected.

  • wow

  • That was very interesting. You mentioned you're going to do more on astrology. I'd like to request videos on solar astrology and the photon belt as well as mercury retrograde. Thanks very much for this excellent video!

  • Thank you so much for your comment. I appreciate it. I don't know much about the photon belt... I have added two more astrology series videos. Check them out. I have an ecclectic bag of tricks.

  • Jetijs, i am honoured that you enjoyed it! thank you!!

  • Thanks,

    This was very interesting!
