i found some awsome cheats for this game that lets you have all plans, all recourses, the ability to fill your motives and much more so you can do whatever you want whenever :D

I didn't play MySims but I played MySims Kingdom and Agents. They are so much fun. I love them. So cute and a good story line with freedom to create stuff as well as having to make things to pass challenges and funny bits too.

I have Sims 2 Castaway on PS2 and I think it's really good. I made two games with an awesome crew of people. One one I reached the end and decided to stay. Love the exploring and was so much fun. On the other it unfortunately glitched and I couldn't progress =/

i have this for the wii and i really like it. However, if a kid like under the age of 10 plays this game (trust me, its likely. Ive watched the PC version since i was 3) they could get scared because of the occasional earthquakes. It just comes so suddenly and randomly. i FREAKED when my 1st one happened to me because i thought my person died. :P. (and no i am not in 4th grade) but its still as fun & addictive as the normal sims. (except like twice as hard cuz you have to make EVERYTHING.)

Lol, I too have often become lost playing this game. But that's all part of the exploration of the island I suppose. Either way, I really enjoyed this game and completely agree with you that it wasn't worth the initial price as marked, but now that it's practically half-price I'm definitely going to be buying it. I originally played this game for PS2 and was wondering what the difference is between that version and the wii version if there are any.

Here is a good tip to playing the game, Have the max amount of people on the ship, so when you find them, they can do the hunting and such while your guy works on important skill building. It really pays off in the end. How ever you will use up more resouces to make bigger shelters

I didn't like this version so I just stuck to Sims 2 Pets for the Wii because I loved taking care of the pets and Sims castaways was really repetetive for trying find things. It was annoying. It was just a lot easier to buy things from the catalog. (Plus I really need the cheat nome for the money)

I borrowed this game from a friend recently and its just as addictive as regular sims. I like that you have to make everything from tools to clothing. Although I didn't like the whole gradually acquiring more motives or the goals. It limits the plans you can access and some of the fun. I pretty much cheated the game when I got to the third island.
