i go to Panama City Beach every year! its is BEAUTIFUL! (: i always stay at that hotel at 3:15 with the white botttom and red top! the hotel is called Shores of Panama, the place is amazing. Buch of activities for kids, and i think it was voted #1 pooldeck in PCB. you guys should DEFINATLY check it out (:

Thanks for sharing the heli tour, I have been in panama city beach many times with my family, it a great place to go for summer vacation, I can see the sterling bech resort in the shore line, It would have be awesome if the heli continues for about 1 more mile furter where St. andrews bay meets the beach. @Oneineverycroud, the one bad thing about it here in the spring is that the water is cold here in PCB .. Its only in the lower 60s in march and upper 60's all the way through til the middle of april ...Also the spring is fairly rainy compared to other months and cloudy on most days but the sand is nice though and its still a fun experience.

i remember going back in the late 90s and you could still see the ocean while driving down front beach road. now you might catch a quick glimpse from the road unless your driving by bid a wee beach

I grew up in PCB, but I haven't been there in fifteen years.. the growth is unbelievable.

When I moved there in 1980 there were only three large condos on Thomas Drive. They had just started building Pelican Walk

Me and my friends used to build forts in the sand dunes between Thomas Drive and the Gulf. So weird to see how built up it has become.

I can only imagine the growth since then. i first went in 1995 and the growth since then has been unbelievable. There are high rise condos everywhere now.

You travel a lot faster in the air so that's why it didn't seem like 10 miles I guess. Part of the water was dark because they were drilling in the ground for a new pier.
