Cosworth is a company that has been thrown back and forth in several hands. Although this is one of their projects, they have also been involved in the R35 GT-R's engine development.

Any company that wants to make money, goes where the money is, and currently the Japanese tuning is becoming more and more popular, but I doubt we will be seeing Mine's touching European or American machinery any time soon.

It is one of the fastest street circuit cars that also look almost stock and not all tuned out, but it isn't the fastest. So far I haven't seen it get beaten by any street cars, but I'm sure there are other cars that can beat it that is lighter for deeper braking and higher cornering speed. But Mine's sure know how to tune this Skyline though. Really amazing how it can beat race cars.

Considering that the car suffers from some understeer and is usually heavier than its competitors makes the car all the more impressive how it performs. Also give credit to the Amazing Keiichi Tsuchiya who can handle a car with that much power and being able to overcome the cars weaknesses.

The Subaru definitely had its arse handed to it.

It was clear in the first run that the GTR was considerably quicker, it had better turnin and had more power/acceleration out of corners.

Warmonkey is definitely an idiot. The Mine's driver restricted his rpm in the beginning by shifting early so it looks like the Subaru is faster than the Mine's on the straight. That Mine's Skyline is the 2nd fastest out of the 3 identical Mine's Skyline, so the Mine's also has room to go faster so don't just say the Impreza has room to improve.

That Impreza didn't "ALMOST" beat the Mine's. The Mine's killed it by far. The impreza if ast, but didn't come close to beating it or touching the Mine's.

Brush up on your Japanese there du mai. The Impreza driver missed-shift coming out of the final corner. Also keep in mind that the GT-R is a straight six vs the boxer of the Impreza as mentioned at the end of the clip. On that circuit, the two cars were almost even with room to improve on the Impreza.
