What you'll need is something that specifically slows down the speed of the CPU. CPU is the magic google keyword.

ZSnes comes with a built-in frame-rater so you can speed it up or slow it down without the need for 3rd party software. You must have ZSnes 1.51 however.

A TAS is a Tool Assisted Speed Run, as in he used Save States until he finally did it perfectly. He put a Save State at the beginning and every time he screwed up, he could start from the beginning again without having to use any lives. Therefore, it would be a lie to not call it a TAS.

ya, for the small music glitch. i think you have to pause the game at the exact frame, just before the music is about to change... and what do you mean by clearly edited? if youre talking from the original smw levels, well its kinda obvious...

Not to dwarf your performance or moves or anything since they were really great, but it seems to me that you turned up the speed just a tad to get under 2 minutes. At least to me it looks like things are falling too fast and the mouth animation is faster than normal. I'm not a 100% about this but I've just watched a ton of mario videos and it looks speedier than normal compared to those.
