Dumb question for cello players from a non-cello-playing newb: Does this style of play wear out the cellos faster than regular "symphony" playing? Although it seems like they are playing them really hard, is it just me who's constantly afraid they're going to break them? Anyway, I love these guys - great application of a beautiful instrument to great rock music!

@HOLYREAPER917 Go see him live or listen to some of his original compositions for Apocalyptica and then say he's garbage. Dude's putting his own sound on what ahem...Ulrich does with a double bass.

Try to shine with your own light when you have 3-4 cellos and your sound can't clash with theirs. This is not your basic guitar/bass/vocals line-up.

Also, if you pay attention he's not playing his own kit. He's using The Rasmus' drummer's kit and you know every band has its own sound particularities.

ok i love metallica i drum everyone of their songs almost and this one is done wrong in parts like he missed the whole like slow part and hes screwed up in many places where lars is going back from hitting a crash about 4 times with snare he missed but other then that awsome chellos

It's sounds out of tune because they're playing Fretless instruments y'all. I think these guys have the mental acumen and enough professional ear training to tell if they are out of tune or not.
