  • lol. why would ireland allow that muslim scumbag to set foot on irish soil. biggest piece of shit liar ever. if he's irish, i'm a fucking piano tuner. it will be nice to see his ass disappear in september.

  • @dirtyrayyz250 Uh, the elections are in November. Nice try, broseph.

  • Corcaigh Abu,

    Rebels Abu,

    UP YA REBELS

  • @GremlinsAndGnomes

and what do you mean by that statement?

  • Its good to see an honest person in Ireland. Compared to the politicians in Ireland, Americans need to cut Obama some slack. You'd laugh if you saw how corrupt things are in Ireland. The fact that he is even believable and looks like he knows what he is talking about is a major step up from politics in Ireland.

  • @JoyceyX Well, I hope that the politicians in Ireland, and all around the world learn to shape up and do what they're supposed to.

  • @JoyceyX

He's corrupt as they come. He's a walking bullshit machine who is very good at looking like a believable person, when in reality everything he says is lies and empty promises.

The fact that he looks legit is worse because the people who actually are believable don't get the recognition they deserve because people are so enamored with him.

  • @bellatrixthechicken Corruption is defined as being guilty of dishonest practices i.e. bribary, lacking integrity,. Im sure he has enough pride not to do any of these. Empty Promises and Lies ar the same thing but atleast he had the audacity to give hope to others. He took charge when things were going down the drain, ofcoarse all the promises wernt going to b fulfilled, but its just part of being a politician, every now and then u gota do something that mightnt aggree with your principles...

  • @JoyceyX

Well you would think wrong. He's a product of the Chicago machine. And he literally went back on 4/5 of his promises, including ones like "no secret meetings with corporate lobbyists" "troops out of iraq in 16 months" and "guantanamo bay shut down"

Also he has accepted hundreds of millions of dollars of campain contributions from banks, especially ones that received the most bailout money.

The Republican and democratic parties are corrupt as hell.

  • @JoyceyX It could be worse than speaking in Ireland. He could be in England (where those poor dumb bastards backed dishonest and mentally challenged George Bush's personal war on the people of Iraq).

  • The audience are like Steve Jobs crowd when releasing an Apple iPod.

  • @FienStudios very true haha. We were all soooo excited.. Obamarama, JFK and RFK are like Gods here lol

  • At least he doesn't treat the Irish like stupid people who are brainwashed like his own country.

  • i wish barack obama was an irish politician cos the clowns we have are stupid incompatant greedy arses who dont know their arse from the elbow. the friendship between ireland and america is amazing!

  • @edmail2992 and what policies of baraks do you like?

  • many famous people all over the world are irish the irish are so cool

  • Oh look.......he is not being blown up by American funded arms like our English soldiers have been. What a pity.

  • @mart2mart so what? you cunts deserved it, thats what happens when you gun down irishmen and women in the streets

  • @ThePowerV3 Oh I see, and the Americans NEVER kill innocent people at all do they?

And I think you will find that we only kill when its a kill or be killed situation, as we are trained to do. Please do some research before posting ignorant comments in the future.

  • why is he an a glass box lol

  • @ANCHORSaweighMYboys protect from the wind

  • Awesome man he is

  • awesome

  • I hate barack obama sooooooooooo much !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • hes a great speaker but you notice how that slow prompter really ficks around with the cadence of his speech

  • i love obama what an awesome man

  • Such a great speech. And I'm not even American and I've never been to Ireland. But the guy knows how to make a crowd look over the horizon.

  • on of de proudest days in 2011 for ireland that day and the day the queen came :D giving us a new lease of hope :)

  • love this video

  • I think he will remember that day as a good one.

  • Hey Obama, YES WE CAN, get you out of office.

I bet you can Bush cuddle over coffee together while destroying the world

with your bombs and skipping merrily through the woods with the Federal Reserve. - sincerely the US citizen

  • @brittanyverjes1 conspiracy nut

  • @billybobs309

    Democrat, that says everything. LOL

  • @brittanyverjes1 Are you calling me a democrat or are you saying you're a democrat? I'm neither democrat nor liberal, as I possess "some" intelligence.

  • @billybobs309

Obama and his bank lobbyist aren't conspiracies you Tard'. Democrat, LOL that says enough.

  • @brittanyverjes1 They're conspiracy theories. Look up the definition, dumbcunt. Also you've put an apostrophe in a ridiculous place, fail.

  • @billybobs309

Look here smart ass if you knew the English language you would know, an apostrophe goes after a word that isn't correctly spelled. When using slang for example , an apostrophe shows you have misspelled the word purposely. When is Tard' a word? I thought so.... Read a book sometime and educate yourself before you attempt to correct my grammar with half of your brain. Fail, dumb-ass. Obviously you haven't written an essay or read a book in forever.

  • @brittanyverjes1 An apostrophe comes before a word that is abbreviated by removing letters from the beginning of the word. I can't believe I'm explaining this to you, think about the contraction of "I love them", "I love 'em", or any other BASIC example. I've read more books than you'll ever read in your life. My essays/articles I write are outstandingly good. What university do you go to? And what subject? I study maths at the University of Oxford, you think you're smart? You're not.

  • @billybobs309 Yeah and I go to Harvard, stop whining about the life you wish you had. Dumbass. I can easily make up a life on the Internet, and I flew to the moon once. Really..... haha how long did that take you to look up on Google. Lobbyist are not a conspiracy theory, you compulsive liar. Go back into your hole.

  • @brittanyverjes1 Lack of answers to my questions => you're not as impressive as me. You're an intellectual pygmy.

  • I love Obama

  • Your comeback is poor. You've just restated your initial point, without elaborating or providing any reason to think that what you're saying is true (which it isn't). You misspelt criticise. Of what relevance is oil? I haven't stated an opinion either way, you're just arguing with yourself, how embarrassing.

  • he talks exactly like the rock

  • Oh yes, Barack Hussein Obama is a Gaelic name, and if you go to Chicago, 79th Street, people over there are all Irish -- as Irish as himself, as you can see on YouTube: v=ZhjdOUgIZpY

  • @schlagerhansi BHO mightn't be an Irish name but Kearney is, and his roots stem from the Kearney clan through his mother. They traced the family back to a small village in Ireland called Moneygall, in Co. Offally. I wouldn't be so quick to judge roots based on appearence or name - Phil Lynott (of Thin Lizzy) was more black than Obama himself and remains an Irish icon many years after his death. Most truly one of our own

  • @Hellfryable

from Offally? oh yes, another BIFFO, only that in this case, "B" stands for "black" ;-)

  • God, I love Him <333 God bless you Mr President, Barak Obama

  • @naughtycocoful All CON-men R lovable & likeable but R evil inside - Obama has spent millions in hidding his criminal past just google LARRY SINCLAIR to hear his old friend talk about their criminal past- Obama tried to smear LARRY as a LIAR but I believe LARRY because Obama has hidden his past-

  • @HarryOrielly This is hilarious, you conspiracy nuts are too stupid to be true.

  • @thereforeimustbegod so did U GOOGLE "LARRY SINCLAIR"? He has alotta cozy pics to prove he was Obama's friend- but Obama has tried to set him up as a liar- but I blieve LARRY because Obama has hidden his entire past history for good reason-

  • @HarryOrielly You're a fucking moron, of course his birth certificate is real. Confirmation bias and deference to "experts" is not a proper form of argument.

  • @thereforeimustbegod Mara Zebest is a leading expert who says absolute forgery- a cut & paste composite ADOBE (PDF) file was created on the computer by pasting valid documents together- at least 6 different typewriters were used on the document- This should be irrefutable proof to anyone who is not a dyed in the wool DEMOCRAT (I did NOT vote for Bush)

  • @HarryOrielly Your response contains further deference to "experts", and is supported only by confirmation bias. The conspiracy theory (LIKE EVERY SINGLE CUNTING ONE EVER) is complete shit that makes small people feel big. Do you feel big now, little man?

  • Dear Ireland, I would like to apologize on the behalf of my nation that you had to endure the presence of my nation's leader. Will you please forgive America?

  • @GremlinsAndGnomes We loved it - most of us are big fans of Obama!

  • Comment removed

  • @Hellfryable Why?

  • @GremlinsAndGnomes A lot of us got really caught up with his presidential campaign here (didn't help that Bush was extremely unpopular in Ireland, as where his oil wars). Add to that the fact that our economy is in shambles so we could use the extra publicity of a presidential visit, the fact that we don't get US Presidents here often and that Obama has roots here, made for an interesting day. US Republican politics doesn't translate well in Europe so he's easier to stomach.

  • @Hellfryable Bush didn't have "oil wars". The United States invaded Iraq because Al Qada flew two planes into the Twin Towers and Iraq is where most of their operations were. I also don't see why people like Obama as him and the U.S. Congress are both terribly incompetent.

  • @GremlinsAndGnomes You're a fucking moron, Iraq was nothing to do with 9/11.

  • @thereforeimustbegod Says the moron. The invasion of Iraq has everything to do with 9/11. Go get educated before you decide to criticize America defending itself. By the way, if America invaded for oil, where's the oil, and why have we stayed to help support their government and promote the liberties of the Iraqi people?

  • @GremlinsAndGnomes Al Quida didn't have a big presence in Iraq before the invasion. The causus beli for the invasion was Saddam having weapons of mass destruction, which later turned out not to exist. Iraq posed no threat whatsoever to the United States, and this was backed up by the fact that the US couldn't get a UN mandate to support them. The US was the aggressor in that war, to say otherwise would be like saying Poland was the aggressor when Germany invaded it during WW2

  • @Hellfryable There was no invasion of Iraq for oil. It was invaded to to the Al Qada presence there, And we don't need to invade Iraq for oil because our biggest supplier is not the Middle East, it's Canada. Al Qada was actively involved in coordinating a puppet political party in Iraq that was also the dominant party, this, combined with the high possibility that Iraq had nuclear technology, was sufficient reason to invade. We were acting in the best interests of everyone in the Free World.

  • @GremlinsAndGnomes But they didn't have weapons of mass destruction - that's even accepted on the US side now. And Al Queda had nothing to do with Saddam, and Saddam had nothing to do with 9/11. The Ba'athists where a secular, pan-arab party with a semi-socialist bent, Al Queda is a radical Islamist organization with a fundementalist, right wing bent. The only thing in common with the two is that they are both authoritarian in nature. There's no evidence they where linked...

  • @Hellfryable Assuming you're correct, answer this please. Say Nigeria is believed to have nuclear weapons, and a terrorist group believed to be controlling the Nigerian government has just bombed Dublin International Airport and killed 3,000 civilians. Are you going to let Nigeria be or take preemptive action to defend the people of Ireland from highly probable nuclear attack?

  • @GremlinsAndGnomes I'd want to make damn sure they actually actually had nuclear weapons and wanted to use them against us before I threw money and lives at it, especially unilaterally, destablizing the entire region. It was that part where Bush went wrong, Iraq didn't have WMD's. Also, the Al Quieda launched 9/11, not the Ba'athists. Again, there is absolutely no evidence that the two are connected (about the same amount that suggested Iraq had WMDs). The premise was false

  • @Hellfryable All our evidence pointed to Iraq developing nuclear weapons and motive to use them. Our country has 300 million people, and we won't risk their lives making absolutely sure our evidence is correct just so Europe can pat us on the head. And in our country, we certainly don't ignore it when foreigners endanger our country. I'd think the Irish of people would understand considering how long you had to fight the British for you freedom.

  • @GremlinsAndGnomes But your evidence was wrong - which your government even admits that there are and were no WMD's in Iraq. Therefore your entire reason d'etere for being there was false - surely you must see that? This isn't about patting anyone on the head - this is about US and Iraqi lives lost, and a region destablised because your government lied you into a war you had no business being in for the sake of Haliburton etc. North Korea does have WMD's - why no war there?

  • @Hellfryable As I stated earlier, Iraq was developing nuclear weapons and Al Qada had strong power over the ruling party in Iraq. If you don't want to believe the truth, then so be it. But as I said, America doesn't like to play nice with aggressive nations just so Europe can pat our head.

  • @GremlinsAndGnomes Where is the evidence that Iraq was developing nuclear weapons? So far, nobody has found any evidence that such a programme exists - not the weapons themselves, no research facilities, nada. That was the reason given for going to war, but nothing was found. As for aggression - what country exactly is more militarily aggressive than the USA on the world stage at the moment? Which of them are involved in more wars? Iran is next on the list for god's sake"

  • @Hellfryable "WMD's" is wrong.

  • @GremlinsAndGnomes The Irish fought the British back then because they where occupying our country against the democratic will of the people and posing a real threat to us. Baring in mind the fact that there isn't a shred of evidence that Saddam had anything to do with 9/11, nor did he have WMD's - did Iraq or did Iraq not pose a threat to the national security of the United States? In what way?

  • @GremlinsAndGnomes The man is a hero and an Irishman; as he's the Moneygall Obama! Our country loves him. Hate him or not, the bond between Us (Irish) and American's is huge. That point that President Obama raised cannot be doubted.

  • @RoryRuFitz What point did he make? I didn't want to watch a 24 minute video of HIM, speaking. And he's not much of a hero. Wining the Presidential Campaign hardly qualifies as heroic, and he's SOCIALIST! All they want to do is take hard earned money from others. It's half a step above communism.

  • @GremlinsAndGnomes No, Socialism is taking money from the greedy rich bastards who think they owe society nothing.

Obama went up against some with the brand name in American politics, i.e Clinton and as a black man with the name Barack Hussein Obama and became president of the free world. Credit where credit is due.

  • @KeithD194 Becoming president as a black man isn't that hard. Racism against blacks is essentially dead and gone with in America, in fact, many people voted for Obama because he was black. Also, socialists are always making the mistake of mixing society and government. Yes, the rich should share their wealth with the needy, but it is not the governments duty to force the rich to do that. And, socialism NEVER WORKS. How is the economy of Ireland doing? Or the Greek? Or the Spanish?

  • @HarryOrielly On the birthcert - is there anything he could do or show to convince you he was born where he said he was born, or do you suspect he is Kenyan because he is black or because it suits your political perspective? Also why are you capitalizing certain words?

  • @Hellfryable 5 top forensic document specialist have examined the (PDF) he presented on April 27th & declared positive FORGERY- Mara Zebest has written over 20 books on ADOBE software and claims definite FORGERY- Paul Irey has been a typesetter specialist for over 50 years and says that 6 different typewriters werwe used on the PDF file Obama presented as real- This is irrefutable proof of FORGERY- HONESTY has NO color but neither does FRAUD-

  • @HarryOrielly And this comment is fucking fantastic, I can't believe you "I don't like authority so I'm going to deny facts and embarrass myself on the interenet, believing one set of shit with no evidence but choosing to ignore actual facts" conspiracy retards are so fucking gullible. Confirmation bias.

  • @thereforeimustbegod your argument is NOT with me but these 5 forensic document specialist who declare Obama's birth certificate (PDF) to be a cut & paste FORGERY-

  • looks like they like him better in Ireland than in his own country

  • @PeterEhik I would hope that Americans don't like Obama after his dreadful term.

  • @PeterEhik Thats probably true, he's loved in Ireland

  • what a day that was, I always get goosebumps at the end

  • The apostrophe joke was kinda funny.

  • @garytow F*** the monarchy

  • Opium of entertainment, shallow and boring even the sad sacks jedward apparently showed up, what a laugh....Obama reneged on Guantanamo Bay, allowing people access to bills before being past, Israel and the Palestinians, bombing Pakistan far more than bush 2...he is a big disappointment and I have lost all respect for him..

  • It's like he's a rockstar

  • I really do love the way Obama expresses himself! He should be an example to all of what a great speaker should be like. We can learn alot from him.Very very gifted man. :)

  • I love this guy. I loved Clinton to, he was very good to Ireland.

  • Leader of the free world speaking in a country with 6 countys missing!!!

  • the middle east does a good enough job killing each other.. horrible people in a horrible society where women are treated like inferior citizens. at least in the us everyone has rights

  • @leabhardenscoth Everyone except for babies. You know, because circumcision and all.

    That's what I thought.

  • Stop murdering babies and ill have a little respect for you. What a shame on Ireland to allow this man to speak in dublin and a shame on those who supported it. 2 million dead in the middle east in ten years and counting.

  • Some true Irish political hip hop

    not mainstream.. check it out

    /watch?v=k6ZxFJPLwCc

  • you have to admit, he's a charming fucker!

  • @xstargirlsarahx

F... yes, but c...? I didn't know that once the Irish went to Kenya and mated with baboons. Charming animals, anway... no one is more Irish than them ;-)

  • I was sooo impressed when he spoke irish

  • Whooo! Obama! I wish I could've gone to the speach, but I couldn't be arsed to get off my butt XD

  • i love this guy!

  • America is the new England, we are horrible imperialists with an apathetic populous. Obama was supposed to bring about the change we wanted, but he doesn't really have any power. Don't give him too much praise, people of Ireland. If he was really your friend we'd probably stop occupying other countries and fight imperialism around the world. You don't see that happening do you? We are the new England and the middle east is our Northern Ireland. Don't give us applause, not for one second.

  • @garfrankwyn Wow you sound really depressed...

  • @garfrankwyn we dont know what obama does or does not do in america, but he was very welcome here in ireland, however i agree with u, his main reason for coming over here was 2 secure the irish american vote!!!

  • what a speech

  • @garytow What if he just wanted too see his roots? For alot of Americans it is special to see your roots Especially for black americans.

  • this speech was truly epic. amazing speech. so happy it was on my 16th birthday too. nd Enda Kenny was so pumped haha.

  • my fav president of EIRE was Mary Robinson. She saw the suffering in Africa and couldnt hold back her tears. That is what u call a human. And not a statesperson of a nation.

  • I was watching this on TV, at my home in Dublin. And Enda Kenny's speech before Obama came on and it was AWESOME! I see know why he became president.

  • Still gives me chills!!!

  • i admire the man. hope he gets a 2nd term. unlike that poxy bush did.

  • @alastarter true. he done in 2 years what bush couldnt do in 8 years which was get bin laden. for 3,000 families he insured that all those families got there justice for there loved ones who perished on 9/11

  • OMG listen at 10:53 , Barack sounds so much like MLK it's chilling.

  • GO BULLS!

    @06:35

    :D

  • Thank heavens that awful blob Cowen wasn't on the stage, and equally thank heavens that President McAleese was there with her experience to handle the visit. Can you imagine the images of the likes of Mary Davis with her awful teeth standing beside Obama outside the Aras? I really hope the Irish people have the courage and conviction to elect a Head of State that looks and speaks as well or better than McAleese. Choose carefully. And whatever you do, don't support thick-headed baldy 'dragons'.

  • Can I ask what exactly abortion has to do with Barack Obama giving a speech and a much needed boost the Irish people?

Can we not just be allowed to enjoy the moment?

  • 18 peoples are right wing teabaggers..

  • I love how silent the crowd goes when he's mid-speech. He is a very good speech maker

  • everyone in ireland was there not just dublin even a few from up here in the north

  • Oh I loved when he was here....the whole country was so excited! IS FEIDIR LINN!!!!

  • Cringe

  • I love OBAMA

  • I was there. The atmosphere was incredible and Obama's speech was fantastic! Was so proud to be Irish that day!

  • best president since clinton and jfk

  • @EnglishNationalist13

Who gives a fuck if this is just to get the Irish Catholic vote in America? He admitted himself in the speech that he would have used it when he was a junior politician.

This speech made a country proud to be who they are in times of turmoil and trouble. Thats whats important about this.

You are the dick my friend not him.

  • is ireland a country in its own right,,,or still part of the uk?

  • @baniez1 its in the name dude, REPUBLIC of ireland

  • @whatthefuck980

ok, thank you for your comment,,,,,,p.s im not a dude.

  • @baniez1 sorry dudette

  • @baniez1 i hope thats a bad joke?

  • @baniez1 - The Northern Part is still politically part of the UK. There are strong divisions on both sides, on one side, Nationalist, mainl Catholic, who want it to return to the Republic (though with the last corrupt lot we had, I wonder why they'd want to now) and the other Side, mainly Protestant, who want to remain in the UK. Its not as simple as I describe and it would take too long to explain it fully. There is still some trouble there but not as bad as it was. Life goes on as usual.

  • I'm not Irish but I've been living here for almost 3 yrs. What I can say about this island and its people is that Ireland is stunning. There is no place like Ireland. Their history and their friendly people can teach the world how to do peace. For me this is the land of peace.

  • Proud to be an American with Irish blood in my family tree. Going to ignore all the pricks who are talking shit and just say that it's cool that Ireland and the US are down with each other. Loved Ireland when I visited years ago and want to get back.

  • Beautiful country, I hope to visit sometime

  • Obamas a wanker. He's like 3% irish and has considerably more English blood in him, along with a tiny bit of German and Scottish apparently (but still most his European blood is English) but he goes to Ireland to celebrate his apparent irish ancestry. He's just doing it for the irish catholic vote in the north-east USA.

Well I know most deep south folk won't buy his shit, most folk are scottish and english protestants down there anyway.

    He is such a dickhead.

  • @EnglishNationalist13 how do u figure he is mostly english? was his mother?

  • @MrWhosurdaddy09 Just look up his ancestry online. Every source i've looked at from google search suggests his ancestry is much more English than Irish.

  • @EnglishNationalist13 you do know scots are descendent from the irish right? just putting that out and every person on the british isles that is white are all descendent from iberians about 89 percent the rest are saxons and scandanavians.Where all related.

  • Rhetoric Bullshit. G. Bush was a pathetic public speaker, Obama is only slightly better. Watch JFK in Ireland to see how he gets a crowd. Overall, the'yre all bad.

  • The next day, my whole class had to right out the whole speech....

  • Republicans envy his succes and his global popularity.

  • @Bynkers83 only republicans right?..no... people envy anyones success, and hes not exactly the most popular guy incase you haven't noticed cuz he pissed away the states.

  • @123roflwaffle Who pissed away the states? Do you know anything about politics or economics?

  • they must be drunk

  • I see a lot of fighting in the comment thread of this video, and I wish that weren't the case. I hope people remain focused on the spirit and intent of the speech: Is Féidir Linn! Yes, we can! Yes, we can! Is Féidir Linn!

  • hawaiian-irish SURE dont make me laugh!!

  • I love President Obama. Love him, love him, love and admire him. How does he do it? How does he consistently stay so positive amidst the pitiful, sad haters in this country?

  • @alegreone Because he's fucking retarded. Stupid monkey.

  • @alegreone how?! cause he the new warmongering guy that runs the planet!!!!

they always seem to know what to say to uplift people that are looking for positive words.

I cant understand that humans havent learnt from the past- hitler, stalin, bush's etc were all men of the year, what makes people think that its all changed for the better?

I can understand that you listening to hitler now makes you scared but to his people back then he was what obama is to the new race of sheeple,

    good god

  • BTW, is Barack slightly tipsy here? he seems a little more candid and casual than usual.

  • @elementz1986 He does mention having a pint haha.

  • @elementz1986 yeah i think he is lol..

  • what a load of shite..... go back to where you came obama.... the likes of you make me sick... 40 million votes in next election are of irish roots.... you vote chaser you!!!! go home to the USA.... and stay there ........ leave us alone ......
